“I can't say enough positive things about H&R Jewelry and Loan Pawn shop. I have never been a in a position where I had to pawn items before but I like many I am still feeling the effect of the pandemic and need a little extra cash to get by here and there. I originally was going to another facility, whenever I'd bring an item in they would tell me it was junk and not worth much and that they needed the original receipt to prove it was real. Many of my items were gifts and I didn't have the receipts. They would then offer me a a very low amount because they were "risking that it could be a fake" This was not the case at H&R. They have been in the business for a long time and can confidently identify authentic items and they respect their worth. Gary helped me both times I was there. He was very kind and gave me a very fair loan. That was a significantly higher amount than the other facility offered me. Gary even took the time to research some other large items that I mentioned that I had at home that I didn't want to lug all the way down there. He gave me an estimate of what loan they could offer me on the item if the item was in good condition etc. The store itself isn't flashy and sparkly like some of the other loan stores around town. But in all honesty I'd much rather a store use money to provide a higher loan to the customer than using the money for fancy rotating displays and case lights etc. Lets face it, a Pawn shop is a business. They are out to make money just like any business. It's a difficult position to be in to have to pawn something that has value to you especially sentimental value. Gary made the process smooth and painless. He was very kind and didn't try to coax me into an unfair or uncomfortable situation. In fact it was the exact opposite. He made the transaction feel normal, fair, and easy. I will use H&R again and would recommend to anyone who needs a loan/sale at a good price.”

“Owner gave me an extremely fair price on used DJ equipment. Product is cosmetically in poor condition but functions great and serves its true purpose entirely. I would've been fully satisfied if he gave me a higher percentage on the resale of the DJ equipment I sold him in exchange for store credit, but he was honest and respectful.”
