It's taken me a while to get to writing this, but it's very deserving of the 5 stars. My car started smoking on the highway about 5 miles away from here, and I had no idea what was wrong. A AAA guy happened to be driving by and offered to tow me here for $50. My experience with Rich, who I'm learning from other commenters is the owner, was incredible. He looked at my car and troubleshooted it, figuring out quickly it was the air conditioning that needed to be replaced. It took about 15 minutes, and being very grateful that I could still safely drive me car with the A/C off, I was happy to pay him. He completely refused payment and I was just so impressed by his honesty. You look into his eyes and you can just tell he's being real with you. That day felt like someone was looking out for me because of this guy! Highly recommend

got my suspension serviced here. At least that's what i thought, jokes on me i guess. after picking up my car and paying good money once i got home i looked under my car and something seemed fishy, i went to another auto shop closer to home. the dude lifted the car up in front of me took the invoice from o and e and started shaking his head. he showed me how i was charged for all these different things but in reality only 1 part had been replaced and the rest just wiped down. these guys at o and e are a joke. don't even waste your time with this place.Service: Steering/Suspension

Richard and his wonderful team at OE automotive is by far one of the best mechanics I've ever come across. He's not greedy or sleazy. I shouldn't even have to mention it but that's what most people think of mechanics when they run across them. Since I've lived in LA (13 years) he's been my only mechanic. He's diligent with his work, him and his team are extremely professional! And his prices are unbeatable. I definitely recommend him as your go to mechanic.

OE is always going over and beyond the call of duty when taking care of my vehicles. Work is great and always done in a timely manner. If you need repairs, no matter how big or small this is the place.

After reading quite a few excellent reviews, I decided to take my 2011 Cadillac SRX in to have my Check Engine light diagnosed. They quickly discovered what the issue was and clearly explained what was in need of repair, how much it would cost and how quickly the car would be repaired. At every step, I was give the status of the repair process and they quickly and very affordably repaired the malfunction and had me on my way. OE Automotive quickly and affordably repaired the Check Engine issue that I was dealing with on my 2011 Cadillac SRX. Every step of the repair process was clearly explained to me and I felt included rather than being merely spoken to. This was absolutely the best experience I've had with an independent mechanic, I am so pleased and relieved to have found a mechanic of such high quality. They have earned my business from here on out.

Seriously, the BEST mechanic in LA. I've been going here for 7 years (sorry this review is long overdue), Richard is a very honest and knowledgable. He tells you when you should (and shouldn't) fix your car. Sometimes I bring my car in for little things that I just don't know how to do and Richard just helps for free. He is a great person.

Great experience, my brakes were starting to get a little crunchy, so Richard took good care of me. Upfront with price and no upselling, which was very much appreciated. Car runs great now. If you need no-hassle repairs, this is the place.

Super convenient, well priced, and excellent service. Got my car battery replaced and Marty took care of everything for me. Quick with the follow up and pricing was better than the 4 other shops I called. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Will be going to them for all my future automotive needs

Love this place! I take my cars and my bike to OE. Big Mike and Rich always take care of the problem no questions asked. And they always give me the best price. If your looking for brains and fast service this is the spot! I hate getting my car fixed but with them iit makes it so much easier they even offer towing if needed. Love this place so much sometimes i just stop in to say hi have some coffee and shoot the you know what!
