Do not come here. The North Hollywood Toyota website claims their body shop uses OEM parts. They do not. I made the mistake of trusting them with my car. First off my car was in the shop for nearly a month, throughout the repairs I receive one update and after that I had to constantly reach out to Georgina. I wouldn’t get a response for days. When I finally received my car back, the splash shield was broken and they didn’t even bother to attach it. I had to come back immediately after picking up my car for them to remove my splash shield and have me wait two weeks for them to replace it. Which by the way I had to reach out multiple times times to confirm if the splash shield had arrived. I also brought up to their attention that the paint job on the hood was bad. There are little chip marks everywhere. They said it was probably just the dead bugs and they would polish the car next time I came in to see if that would help. Well it did not! When I got my car back after the polish and the chip paint was still there they try to dismiss it and say it was from “wear and tear”. What wear and tear it was just painted! Georgina suggested the best she could do was give me spare paint so I MYSELF can fill in the little chipped paint spots!! Secondly, I also brought to their attention that the new bumper they installed was not aligned. They assured me that they would fix it. Turns out they were unable to fix it because the bumper is aftermarket and it does not FIT the car!!! Georgina told me she would work on getting an original replacement for it but to give her some time. Two weeks go by and I’ve reached out to her multiple times with no response. My insurance ended up reaching out to me and I explained to them what was happening. Turns out Georgina is now on leave for a month. They told me John could help me out. I reached out to John over the phone on Monday where I tried to explain to him the issue with my bumper and the paint job on the hood and he tried to dismiss it over the phone as, the bumper just needs to be aligned! I told him that they tried to aligned it the last time I brought it in but they couldn’t and I let him know what Georgina was supposed to be working on getting me an OEM bumper and he continually dismissed it and is now demanding I waste my time again to bring it in so he could inspection it himself. We wouldn’t be having this issue if you guys actually instead an OEM bumper in the first place! Just like you claim you do on your website! I’m am absolutely sick of having to go through all this. This place is a scam, do no bring your car here. I brought my car here for piece of mind instead all I’ve had is stress and a massive headache. I am bringing my car in soon again and hoping that this nightmare will end once and for all. I am not satisfied with the shoddy work they do and I will continue to demand the quality of work I expected to get!! Avoid this place at all cost. Their estimate for the shoddy work they did was over $4k! And all the parts they used were after market! The only OEM part they installed on my car was the EMBLEM!

The female front desk receptionist was really rude & unwelcoming. My husband & I came here with our 12 month old daughter that was grabbing the stacks of intake papers they have on the extra low table while we’re trying to give information about our vehicle to our intake guy. I moved the stacks of papers away from my daughter so I can focus on helping my husband gather the right information since I had been communicating with the insurances & we can be out. She comes over to the guest area that is respectfully for US the clients & puts the stacks of papers back where my baby can reach & then makes the statement sarcastically, “ these are for our clients.” May I add we were the only people there. This isn’t the DMV? Why do you need stacks & stacks & stacks of intake papers as if people are lined up around the corner? I could have easily taken my $3,000.00+ check & truck elsewhere but like my husband said, “ she’s not a mechanic. Hope she takes her job more professionally & presents herself at work more professionally.

I’ve brought in my car twice to Toyota Body Shop and both times they weren’t communicative. I had to call them consistently for updates or even to find out my car has been ready to pick up. Also, while being in the waiting area I would go unacknowledged for far too long before being helped. I also was told Enterprise would come pick me up and no one ever came, I asked the front desk to call again and she shrugged it off so I had to Uber.

My catalytic converter was stolen in March. You can imagine how upset I was. My insurance took care of a replacement and sent my car to Toyota of North Hollywood. Georgina was in charge of my claim at the dealer, she was so sweet and informative and put my mind at ease. I was able to get my car back a bit sooner than expected which I really appreciated. Thank you Gigi!

Gigi’s customer service was great! She responded quick and answered any questions I had regarding the catalytic converter. Didn’t have to worry about anything. I even got my car before the expected date. Thank you Gigi for going above and beyond.

Abrupt, dismissive and argumentative is not the qualities you want in a customer service representative. I felt that was the way I was treated by Russell. Besides getting my routine maintenance, I needed help with a very unique situation where my key fob fell and lodged under the plate & rails for the driver side seat of my 2021 Camry. After explaining the problem, Russell abruptly said that his people could not do any better than I. This was a serious issue for me because anyone could start my car with the fob inside so I asked him to see what his guys could do. Later I got a call from Russell that my car was ready and his guys checked and there were definitely no keys under the seat. This of course was bs because I knew I could start the car even without the 2nd fob I was using. He did quote me $307 to pop the seat. His tone was that would be nuts because nothing was under the seat. He was right I was wrong. I declined and paid for the maintenance and left. The next day my daughter in law with a smaller hand and a bent clothes hanger was able to wish out the fob. The same fob Russell insisted was not there. I don't think you want your people treating your customers this way ... at least if you want to keep them. I will now think twice before I use Toyota of North Hollywood for service.

Make sure to request a diagnostic report (Vehicle Condition Report or Multi-Inspection Report) when bringing in your vehicle. I brought in for various services from oil change, fluids and new rims / tires 10/15, 12/08, 12/30/23 and 01/26/24 -- but no one mentioned the condition of my break pads or provided any recommendations (therefore trusting their inspections). As a result I made an appointment for 7:00 am on 3/18/24 for maintenance notification. Upon arrival advised it be just a standard fluid check. Over 2 1/2 hours passed, so approached the desk at 9:35 am and the service tech was happy I came to him?...He advised my rear breaks were shot and I needed to completely replace rotors and pads. I've never left a negative review in my life but I'm placing this to advise to ask for reports. I've only dealt with Culver City Toyota or Van Nuys for this car and everyone is always usually transparent about providing a Vehicle Condition Report. After requesting to review previous reports here at North Hollywood Toyota, the tech acknowledged they didn't provide a report before and just said sorry. I had to stay another 6 + hours and was not able to go into work. Their error cost me more money and time than needed. And they didn't seem to genuinely care or offer any empathetic resolution in the means of a monetary discount. I truly wish everyone the best and pray people will really advise customers on the conditions of their vehicle when they come in for their professional expertise. True believer in treat others as you'd want to be treated or how you'd want your family treated. Leaving this so if people come here, recommend taking some of the details into your own hands. Especially if you're like myself who preference directly with a dealer hoping for more transparency and preventative help.

First thing not honest when I ask about the warranty. When I bought my battery they told me me that I have 3years warranty and after that prorated. When I ask today he said it's only 2 yrs warranty! And also a lot more argument so I decided just to leave... I'm not going back here in North Hollywood toyota!
