The first time I was here was last November and it was terrible, unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the hairstylist, but the next day I had to trim the length of the hair on the back of my head myself??♀️
Today I got my hair cut by Cynthia (I’m not sure about the correct spelling of her name , but it sounded exactly like that) a girl with medium-long black hair and her work covered all the negative experiences from the previous visit??The salon staff is incredibly friendly and responsive, which also made me happy, you guys have a great team.

I've been going to NoHo Salon to see Mick for years and he always takes excellent care of me! He is always super thoughtful and responsive about any concerns like water temperature or brush bristles poking my scalp, or different treatments being irritating. Plus the spot has a great vibe, it's always super clean, and the staff clearly have a lot of experience and know what they are doing. Lots of (indirect) sunlight too so it stays cool but is still very well lit with natural lighting due to the large windows. And I always try to reach out a couple weeks in advance so I have options when it comes to scheduling. Absolutely would and have recommended without hesitation!

LOVED IT!!! Rafael was incredible, really listened to me and worked with me. When I arrived, he took me to the Hair Shop and we got some extensions and then he got right to work. Six hours later, we finished a full head of 190 strands of keratin extensions. Great experience. I got hair extensions done and they look AMAZING! Looks just like my real hair. Great work. On top of that- the salon was very comfortable and they took great care of me. Anyways, I feel so confident now!! So happy!!!

Evita gave me the best haircut I’ve ever gotten in my life. I’ve been trying to get this short layered style for a couple years and no one has really gotten it right, but Evita listened to what I wanted and helped get me there. Everyone was super friendly, and I was out in under an hour. I’ll be coming back for my next cut!

Went in for a consultation and booked an appointment with Mischa. I cannot emphasize how happy I am with my hair! It’s been ages since I’ve had a good hair cut. She listened to exactly what I had asked and crushed it. The color is amazing. The highlights blended so well and weren’t too light. Won’t go anywhere else. 10/10!

TLDR: Not only does the hairstylist lack a decent skill set, but the business owner also spreads lies about a customer in retaliation to a negative review. ---- Wow, you just made up a whole story about me requesting a discount to discredit my review. I'm not an "influencer" and have never asked for a discount. Please explain how I could have requested one when the appointment phone call lasted only 14s and 55s (see attached). Additionally, why would an "influencer" denied a discount request over the phone still promptly come in for the service? Your lies don't hold up. Furthermore, I didn't write the review during the service. I looked up Yelp reviews because of the terrible hair service. Another indication of the stylist's unprofessionalism was peeking into my phone screen mid-service. My phone has a privacy screen, so he must've made quite an effort to see my screen. LOL. I'm relieved I didn't provide my full name when booking the appointment. I paid for the service in full (attached) and did not leave a tip for obvious reasons. The hairstylist's performance was extremely disappointing, and your business practices are unethical for spreading lies and disclosing my personal information in retaliation.

Had a wonderful experience at this salon! Mick was incredibly kind and welcoming and gave me one of the best haircut's I've ever gotten. It was a breath of fresh air to be able have fun conversations and also feel great about the cut, definitely will be back and recommending this salon (:

I have never had such a painful experience at a hair salon - and I've had highlights all my life! Alenoosh/Annie was billed as an expert in blending gray roots with the rest of your hair. She's either a sadist or doesn't know how to treat a head of hair - I have sores on my scalp from her pulling my hair with foils/brushing my wet tangled hair - NOT putting a hand on my top hair to save my scalp. When I complained she said my hair was thin and she was just doing her work. 5 hours and $500 later, I left with wet hair. She ruined my hair - bleaching, toning - every chemical went on my head. And she made my hair gray! Instead of blending the top to the bottom, she made the bottom ash gray. I'm mortified. I look 1000% worse than when I walked in with blond/gray roots and brassy highlights. If you go to this salon, do NOT ask for Annie.

I had been looking to get tinsel out in my hair for forever and they put it in for me!! It's so cute and I love it!!! I had Sara as my stylist and she was very kind, patient, and did an excellent job. I will be coming back and do recommend! The environment inside is very kind and welcoming and things are reasonably priced. From my experience as well, I would say they are disability accessible and queer friendly. Cute little salon and I was lucky enough to call and get a last minute appointment with Annie. My hair was so dead and I had cut it myself prior so my layers were a bit uneven. She relayered my hair soooo good and gave me a beautiful blow out as well! She’s amazing at what she does and is very detailed. She’s a color specialist as well!! 10/10 recommend.Services: Blowouts
