I had gotten the run around from another place for a couple of weeks about how I needed to "drive a lot on the freeway" for my car to be ready for the smog test - the self check had not completed. I went here tonight and the owner was amazing! He told me exactly what I needed to do to perform the drive cycle. I drove around doing exactly that and when I went back to him, it was ready to be checked! Go here! Don't go to Sherman Oaks Auto Center!

I think the owner's name is "Theo", I could be wrong, but I spoke to him on the phone to be sure they were open late (10pm, yes I waited to the last minute to get my registration done before more fees were added). The shop door is not able to be seen from the street and it is a little dark but perfectly safe. I got in and out with no problem and had a great conversation with "Theo". I recommend AA smog for any time of day... Or night.

This man has had so much patience with me and i can not thank him enough for fixing my car, he did such a wonderful and marvelous job, to the point where my car finally looks brand new again. My passenger door wouldn't open all the way due to an accident that happened, also if you can see the side skirt or whatever it's called it was broken in half and he fixed that as well, he fixed it like it was brand new, polished, and everything. Thank you so much Victor!

Professional, courteous and open late. It's one guy (I forget​ his name) in one service bay, so there's little in way of a ​waiting room or amenities. But the ​customer experience was everything one could ask for. Open much later than most as well.

What a great, fast, and fairly priced location! Theo was a very nice man who took care of me in my time of need. My registration is literally due tomorrow and he was the only place open at such a late hour. We had a great conversation about cars and shared facts, all while he did my smog check. Just bring some cash with you and you should be fine. I will definitely recommend this place and i will definitely be coming back.
