First off, I didn't hire these jokers. I thought I was hiring a different moving company, and my household goods were farmed off to them. The company I was working with offered me a month of free storage, as I was driving from CA to MA for a new job, and uncertain about where I'd be landing at first. Long story short, Move Happy did not honor that contractual agreement. They decided they would deliver when they chose, even though I did not give confirmation that I would be available to receive the shipment, and then charged me $500 for requesting the full month of storage (as, according to them, they had loaded my goods for shipping, even though I hadn't confirmed that they should do that, in the first place). I went back and forth with a "customer service" representative there, literally sending her emails verbatim trying to explain, and she refused to honor the original contract. They will try to strong-arm you to accommodate their preferred schedules and then extort you to pay additional fees you do not owe by refusing to deliver your things until you capitulate. Once they have your money, there is no reasoning with them. It's a waste of time to try, even if you spell things out step by step with actual email correspondence. I submitted a complaint to BBB, which they simply ignored. Do yourself a favor, and do not do business with these people.

The company that coordinated the move was terrible. Seriously, zero communication. We slept on an air mattress for 32 days with no updates on the status despite calling weekly to check in. Movers broke 40% of the furniture they delivered

Do not trust these guys. They pretend to have your best interest at heart, then lien sheet and overcharge you. I was given a quote of 15k For my interstate move and yet when The guys came to pack things up and move me they informed me it was gonna cost me $5000 extra. They said it was because I had several hundred cubic feet more than they had estimated. When I told them it wasn’t my responsibility to know how much cubic feet it was because someone had come and given me an estimate they said it didn’t matter. I had no choice but to pay the extra $5000 Because we had to move. When we arrived in Colorado and opened our boxes, half of them were packed about 50 to 60%. They had under packed boxes, increased the cubic feet Of our stuff and then charged us more. They were bullies and the white glove service they promise you as far from that I can assure you. Things were packed Haphazardly Not labeled properly.

I contacted International Van Lines to set up a move from Hawaii to Florida, but turns out they book other companies to do the work. The packing crew that came from a third party company in Hawaii was young and inexperienced and there is unnecessary breakage at the other end. But they were cheerful and honest, and that's important, too. Sophia kept us informed as our household goods moved across the ocean and the Mainland. The driver of our truck, Nick, called to give me a window of time for the delivery, which I appreciated. Nick and Jeff arrived on time and in contrast to the company in Hawaii, were very experienced and professional. They are the reason for this 5 star rating. These guys are the best!!!! And they are local to Florida. I don't plan to move again, but if I do, Move Happy will get the call.

I recently used Move Happy to move my household goods from Hawaii to Houston. Packing the stuff went really well. They were thorough loading, took picts the whole 9. Told me 4-6 weeks, kept me informed with emails, and calls, it cost me around $3k door to door. Here is where it goes bad. They came early and called me that because the swmi couldnt make it to my apt that there is a transfer to a smaller truck ($400) , ok cool. They even charge if they have a certain distance to delvier my goods, ok. But what they dont do is reimburse you if I get a truck and go get my goods because they cant come closer. I paid for door to door service. So why don't they discount or remburse for 'non door to door'. So I have a truck and met them up the street to get my stuff and put up my own goods to the apt. (STRIKE ONE) So 4 carts are broken, and my dolly is missing. I called to file a claim (Mon Oct 30th) its Tuesday the 1st, still no email, no response or a call. (STRIKE TWO).****Update*** IT IS NOV 11TH AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT CONTACTED ME ABOUT MY CLAIM. (STIRKE THREE)THEY HAVE UNEXCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. NOTHING HAPPY ABOUT THIS MOVE. If anyone uses this company get all info about door to door service. Honestly, I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU USE THIS COMPANY!!!

The good - shipment delivered on time and undamaged. Sales rep, packers and drivers that we dealt with were professional, polite and efficient. The bad - you have to pay balance due before unloading begins. When unloading was done, the move was not fully complete: (1) Grandfather clock was left crated in the garage and still needed to be uncrated and placed inside of the house, (2) a large dresser was left in the garage and still needed to be moved to second story bedroom, and (3) a treadmill still needed to be reassembled. In spite of several phone calls and emails with several personnel of Move Happy that suggested that they are working the issue, nothing happened for two months. That leads us to the conclusion that after they have the money they no longer care about the customer.

Very satisfactory experience , Nick (the transporter, move-in and set up man was flawless. He took care moving things and made sure i was satisfied with everything. My salesperson,Doug, was most disappointing cog in the wheel. More transparency and communication form him would have made for a less stressful experience. Overall it was reliable and on point.

We contracted with City Moving to move our HHG from O'ahu to Florida. Today our movers came: Nick, the crew lead; Kevin & Jeff. We have had several moves before and this crew was exemplary! They were quick, careful, very considerate. We were extremely happy with their service and would recommend them anytime to anyone! We would like to think that all moving crews are this professional but alas, we know that's not the case. THIS crew though, was a cut above!

Nick is an outstanding mover. he and his crew handled the unloading and assembly of my move quickly and professionally. I'll be using Move Happy for my next move and requesting him as my driver.

Would not recommend this company. They will actively screen your calls and choose not to pick up. They will lose your items. Go with a different company, even if you have to pay more.I used them for my move from Hawaii to Texas. The movers came and packaged up my belongings and I thought all was good. However, they did not give me the chance to check over the inventory before they left. If you are using this company, check over everything and make sure it is scanned into their system, even if they brush you off.On the day of delivery, the driver said he would not fit into a space that could clearly fit. I called the main phone number and was told that I wasn't being charged anything but they would have dispatch call. No one did. The driver deemed that he would now charge me 3.5 units of "long haul" with the prices of $75 per unit (this included walking from the elevator to my apartment). I called the main company phone number and no one picked up over 2 hours. Curious, I had my friend conference call - they picked up. The call got disconnected when I spoke and that friend was not able to get through again. After trying for another 15 mins, I had another friend call. They picked up and when she told them that I had been trying for 2 hours they said "tell her to call, we will pick up now." They did pick up, but then had to transfer me to someone else. Surprise, surprise - that person didn't pick up. The movers required payment before moving so I had to give in and pay them. Note - a rep emailed me immediately on receiving payment but wouldn't respond to an email. The movers were an elderly couple that took almost four hours to move 1.5 hours worth of stuff at most. At this point it is almost 9pm I told them to go as it was late but I noticed that parts of my bed were missing. I wrote down tatami mat was missing, but they took it away before I finished.I had a Japanese bed which included headboard, bedframe, slats, tatami mat and futon. The tatami mat, futon and parts of the bed frame did not make it. They said that they did not have record of the tatami mat or futon, but would compensate me $30 for the bed frame. $30 for a $1500 bed frame. Make it make sense.I know that they compensate based on weight and yes this is what it is, its their policy. However, it is just sad that companies have no accountability to their customers and take no responsibility when things go wrong. You pay thousands of dollars for your items already, please pay a little extra for another company to ship your items. When I moved to Hawaii I used Royal Hawaiian Movers. I had no issues whatsoever. I tried to use them again but they were all booked with military moves. Please plan your movers early enough that you don't fall into the same situation as me. Not only did I spend the money on the move, but also need to spend money replacing all the missing items, which will easily be $2000. Also, for the amount that you will spend, you deserve to work with a company that will pick up the phone when you call. I attempted to call Jose right after he sent me the email about $30 settlement. Did he pick up? No. And its not just Jose. Miguel, Jonathan, Nathan, etc etc they are all the same.Edit: got a hold of Jose! He stated that they will look for the items one more time. I will update if my lost items are found.

Started off great with customer services. They seemed like they were doing a professional job by taking pictures of our boxes and furniture and making an inventory list. Our stuff arrived within the time window they provided BUT 1) damaged my $7,000 solid walnut round dining table (someone in the moving process dropped it and it now has grated dents on an entire edge) it's as if they rolled the table. It's beyond repair.2) Damaged my TV stand3) LOST/Stole high value items that were packed away in the TV stand 3) LOST several boxes containing irreplaceable family memorabilia (my child's artwork, framed family pictures, original Disney artwork).and they all just start blaming each other...the packing movers...warehouse movers...delivery movers. They have damaged $6,000 worth of furniture and lost at least $5,000 of personal items (not including priceless memorabilia). What's the point of wrapping and taping up my furniture if it's going to be damaged. What's the point of making labels and taking inventory if you are going to loose my stuff. I am not even that upset about the monetary values items...i am heartbroken over the lost memorabilia that i won't have for my first child because "the movers lost it".Some advice: keep your own inventory (don't trust their log), use heavy duty plastic totes fromHome Depot - our cardboard boxes arrived trashed, don't sign off on any paper work until you have accounted for all your items; they will try and rush you and assure that what was delivered matches the inventory log.Update: they offered $75 for 2 lost boxes, damaged dining table and broken TV stand. The insurance coverage is supposed to be $.60 per pound. This does not add up and the claims personnel admitted that they don't go by weight of lost/damaged items. Don't go with this company. I should have gone with Dillingham & Sons.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. AVOID AT ALL COST.Sales were responsive until the contract is signed. Furnitures were damaged and refund is still pending after more than a month after claims were submitted. No response from the Customer Service (Jose Robledo) despite multiple emails.

Worst customer service - don’t use for long distance moves. Nathan is completely unresponsive. He told me their contract allows them 45 days to deliver even though their website says 6-10 days. No status provided, no COI provided after multiple email requests. They turned the move into a complete headache.Update: 10 days after I gave them my move address, I have no update on delivery and no update on COI. I am at the point of calling the insurance company to see if they can track down my belongings. Every day they want you to call them and check on the status, only to have their dispatch tell you to call them back tomorrow. I’ve moved many times, and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had by far.Update 2: It has now been over a month since they picked up my belongings with no delivery date in sight and no COI. Upon research, this is a PE backed company and they will keep your stuff for months until they can fill up a truck - no white glove service and completely false advertising on their website.Update 3: Stuff arrives damaged. Artwork chipped, mirrors broken, Peloton tread not operational. See photos.
