I went here last week and experienced some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered in LA. Yes, I recognize the magnitude of that statement. I know Angelenos love their plants (I sure do) but this is a store that sells pots and fountains. Sure, they're high quality, but they're a commodity. I can get large pots from Home Depot for 1/10th the price, but I chose to go to Jackalope for a $300 pot because I wanted a specialty pot for a special plant. Unfortunately the manager went out of her way to make me feel small, belittle me, and spurn me when I approached her for help. I guess it's shame on me for sticking around long enough to get rebuffed so many times. I ended up going to Potted in Los Feliz and encountered the loveliest, knowledgeable manager who guided me to the perfect pot for my plant. It cost slightly less than what I saw at Jackalope and the experience washed away all the bad vibes from Jackalope. Go to Potted instead -- they're wonderful!!

If you're looking for a place to green up your home this is the place. The vibe is super cool and they have a large variety of indoor & outdoor plants. I also love the fact that the staff takes their time in explaining the pros and cons of the plant you want versus the plant you need (for the area you are looking). The price point is also nice. Let me reiterate that this place is a whole vibe!! I wanted to pull up a chair, crank up some music and ask for a margarita so I could get my entire life lol. Check them out and thank me layer

Okay, SELECTION!! I have looked high and low for outdoor planters and can confidently say that I am yet to find something in LA that comes close to the variety at Jackalope. I was recommending this location by another nursery specifically for the pottery and I am not disappointed. I recently hurt my back renovating, however I walked through this whole lot excitedly and when I was sure on the one I would go with, I went up to the front and asked for help. There was a woman and gentleman in the front that promptly helped me carry the Large pot to the front for payment and then another gentleman came foreword without being prompted and helped me load it into my car- who I was happy to tip. I don't understand the negative remarks about the customer service I've seen here on yelp; my experience was the opposite. They let me explore in peace and when ready stepped in to assist. So many people on here asking for their hand to be held so annoying lol. Jackalope has a HUGE selection of quality product, PERIOD, that is all the customer service I need. Dont let any of the negative reviews deter you from visiting if you are looking for quality design and build. Trust me I've been looking for months for a place like this.

I love going to this place. They have such a variety of pots--colors, sizes and types. They have a huge selection of succulents and a variety of indoor plants. Right now they have a variety of fountains. If you're looking for heavy large pots, you'll definitely want to check them out at this location. Customer Service is very good
