Literally watched a man be racially profiled here. Never thought I'd see something like that in real life but here we are. I (a white woman) entered the store in front of a black man, I was politely greeted and when the man walked in, the worker rudely snapped at the man that he needed to leave his coffee outside (understandable, but she was very rude) he complied, then she snapped again that he wasn't allowed to have a tote bag in the store. He pointed out that I was carrying a bag and she basically said, too bad, yours is bigger. Utterly blatant racial profiling and I will not be returning. 90% of the shop isn't even vintage anyways and it's all overpriced. I just wish I'd said something instead of freezing. You need to get your employees in check.

The three employees who worked today (12/30/23) were AMAZING! Went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. Went in today not expecting anything but left in total awe with a big smile on my face. All 3 of these employees need to be in management or ownership of this store because they represented the business VERY WELL! THANKS!!

This is a terrible way of doing business! You have nothing special, but enjoy making feel people uncomfortable to even get in the store. You follow people around with too much security and I had people that I bet were employees pretending to be customers that follow you around as well. What are you selling government classified documents that need all this security. Or is this a a front for other operations? Because a normal store would invest more in customer service than harassing his own customers. There is something wrong with this place. You want to feel uncomfortable? Then go shop here and have a blast at feeling uncomfortable.

I live walking distance from this store and have been meaning to stop by. Today I finally made the time to stop in and am so glad I did.I was looking specifically for something to wear to a concert. They had a variety of fun items like sparkly bell bottoms and tops. Also a lot of vintage tees and sweatshirts. They had an epic Fleetwood Mac sweatshirt but it was unfortunately way too big. Someone go grab it! I ended up getting a vintage t-shirt for my boyfriend, a sparkly top for me, a vintage handkerchief and some adorable fun earrings.The store is sunny and well organized. As fun at the store was and as much as I like the items - I mainly wanted to write this view because of the customer service.Dev was the one who helped me and she was such a sweetheart while maintaining professionalism. She greeted me as soon as I arrived and stayed close enough that if I needed her she was close by but didn't hover.She was patient and helpful while I found what I wanted and just radiated good vibes. It makes all the difference for a shopping experience when the employees give that kind of energy!I will certainly be back at some point! Thanks, Iguana!!P.S. Come here if you're looking for a Halloween costume.

I tried to visit this store, but they were closed during their normal business hours. So frustrating. If you plan to visit this place be sure to call ahead and speak with an actual person. Otherwise, you risk the same frustration I experienced today.

A MUST DO! 4 & 1/3 STARS! Iiguana is a Good Vintage Shop for Clothing & Accessories. They have 2 locations one in North Hollywood & the other one is in Hollywood. This is a review of their North Hollywood shop located on Lankershim Blvd. They always have some cool stuff showcased in their windows. They have everything for both Men & Women including: Sunglasses, Bracelets, Mood Rings, Earrings, Hair Accessories, Jewelry, Pocketbooks, Fake Colored Eyelashes, Wigs, Shirts, Pants, Dresses, Jeans, Bell Bottoms, Hats, Baseball Caps, Camo, Army, Fatigues & other Cool Stuff. If you are going to a themed party or an event or a music festival, you might want to stop in here to make your outfit complete & unique. Also it's a great place to put together an outfit for Halloween. It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really Rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

Uncomfortable throughout the whole time there. I understand the need to monitor but this was ridiculous. I didn’t realize how bad this would be at this store until I came to see reviews and saw multiple people say the same. Not okay.

Awesome store with unique variety of costume and vintage clothing. Everyone is saying it's overpriced yet some the items they carry are not existent online or other stores. Great prices and super friendly staff! Highly recommended!

The tall guy with long hair will chase around until you leave. The staff is really uncomfortable, and the store is not that special, just go to another Iguana Vintage.If you want to experience some odd vives ur welcome here.

the young girls here are so sweet - much better than the Sherman location. but THIS STORE IS RACIST. a lot of cultural appropriation going on. I've heard stories of the larger man behind the counter being very rude to people of color. not a good business

I feel like they judge and profile the people who come here, because I was being monitored the whole time.. To make things even more awkward they still REQUIRE YOU TO WEAR A MASK , AND REQUIRE YOU TO SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION TO SHOP!
