The people at GM paint supply are very super nice kind respectful helpful and I took a half a pint to get color match since another paint supply store couldn't color match it right I took it to them they did a very good job they did not charge me for the first time I don't and I really appreciate that from them overall great paint supply store first time going there excellent service.

Must say I really like this place. I work on a lot of film sets where products must be quick, clean, and efficient. I like the concrete stains and sealers they carry here. Good products and good customer service at this store. My go-to shop

Been to over a dozen paint stores with no help or knowledge of what I was looking for. With the advise from a friend he recommended trying G&M . Walked in and was Impressed with the sales person Tony and the owner Sam who took the time and helped me out with some sample work they did for me.. I highly recommend going . They're professional, knowledgeable, very helpful . They we're up for any challenge and had just great advice!

Went in the other day thinking i was going to come out satisfied, i was wrong. Front help desk guy tony i believe was his name offered me to pay in cash outside the store "under the table" is what he said for a cheaper price, for some automotive paint i was interested in, he was very insisting for me to pay that way, once i told him i was gonna pay with a card his attitude changed and not for the good. Not only that but i also got ignored by a guy in the back a couple times after i seen the front desk guy conversate with him, I'm sure it was about me. I am very disappointed in this company i told my buddies at the show to NOT buy anything from these guys anymore

I really hate writing this review as I have been a happy G&M paint customer maybe as much as 20 years. They have high-quality products and I get good advice from them. I'm seriously thinking about going back to them anymore because of this bad experience that I had. I purchased a can of Spray paint . It's a standard base coat paint which can be pigmented. Ordinarily I'm really happy with my purchase. I I needed to spray paint my Standard factory car spoiler black. I would be top coating it with a premium gloss clear which I purchased there twice before at a fair price. When we decided what I should have he went to the back and came out shortly after with a count of spray max 1K Fill clean. This is not an expensive can of paint. I typically retails for $13 dollars. He told me it was super black but on applying it I noticed that it wasn't especially black and didn't go on especially evenly. But I was happy enough with it because it doesn't do any Whack things that some paints can do and mess up your car part. However because application was slightly uneven I went online to see how to best apply it. Also the paint didn't look especially black. I got the impression that when he came out he had given me some thing that was super black. So I didn't question the price. I don't mind paying more for an ultra good product but this is clearly not especially good. Just suitable for the job. That is where I saw the paint selling everywhere for about $12. I was charged $38 plus. So I called around to about four different auto paint stores all of them named G & M or GM auto paint. Hoping to find an affiliated store I thought that would be the best way to see if I was being overcharged. Yeah I had purchased much more complex pearl and metallic paints From G&M that had to be matches to factory paint I was never charged more than $30 and sometimes in the low 20s. This is a single part spray paint. But he was charging me considerably more than for the two part Clearcoat 2K which is a much more specialized paint by the same company. There was absolutely nothing special about this paint. Every company I spoke to was selling the paint for a lot less. Even the most expensive the store was under $30 and one of them said they don't even charge for pigmenting. Like when you go to Home Depot you don't expect to pay extra for pigmenting. But again I don't care about paying more if I'm getting a great product or for specialty services. Or for especially great help. And I do get good help from the store. So when he told me the price was over $38 I didn't question it Based on my relationship of trust I had with the company. I called those four stores because while it seemed like the paint was very expensive for a simple spray can, I needed to know that other People selling this paint weren't selling it for that price. When I found out that everybody was selling it for a hell of a lot less. I later went down to G and M paint For some advice about how to improve the gloss and to bring up the topic of how much he charged me for the paint. I wasn't angry at all. I was just asking why you have charged me so much for this particular paint. His only response is that's just what he charges. And I said but these other places are all charging a lot less. His response was that that's what they say on the phone. But when you get there they'll charge you a lot more. I'm calling b******* on that statement. I told him I feel hosed. G&M was my one and only Auto paint store. But my trust is broken. Because even if that is just what he charges, Why would I go there and pay double for the same product? I'm sad about it.
