They are good peoples. I probably just got a bad experience. I went and bought a $55 used tire for my 2007 Saturn. Before purchasing the tire I called around and the average price for the tire was $60-$65. Which I thought was an up charge because I usually get it for $40 in my neighborhood (South Los Angeles). Got my tire changed all was good. Until two days later when I wake up and start to drive and notice that my steering wheel was hard to handle and my car ride for a block or two was rough. I got out and checked what was wrong. Sure enough I had a flat on the tire I just replaced. Went to the nearest gas station wasted $2 on air. Tried to put in air and could not because the tire would not receive it. The air would just come out. Then I had to call my work and tell them i could not show up because their was something wrong with my tire. At this point I am losing up to $180 for a no show to work. Next move was to get my tire replaced and see what was wrong. So I proceed to wait for a tire shop to open and when it does I go towards it with the possibility of ruining my rim. Once I get tended to at the new tire shop. They take of the wheel and he shows me what is wrong. My tire was torn. About a whole foot. The tear was on the side parallel of where the bolts go to lock in the tire. I am thankful for the fact that the tire did not explode on me while I be on my commute. I drive daily up to 35 miles. After this view of my lackluster of a tire. I proceed it to get it changed for $40. Now in total I have lost $275 for a simple tire change. Which is the cost of three new tires for my car. I take accountability for even changing my tire here at Colima tires because there were a whole bunch of red flags that arose beforehand. Thank you to them for servicing me. This is just my experience.

Went today to get a simple punctured tire fixed. Price doubled since last visit, did not get told this until After the repair. Cost as much to fix as it is to buy a used tire, guess I need a new tire guy.

Great service and very accommodating. Miguel was helpful and patched up my tire with no problem (while other shops claimed I needed a new tire). I was in & out in less than 20 minutes.

Just went in today for the first time. From driving in, to driving out was like 10 mins!! Service was superrrr quick and easy. I had to patch up my back tire because it kept disinflating. I asked for his advice if I needed a new tire or just patch it and he was honest and told me my tire was still good (kinda new car) so only a patch would be necessary. Great price for it too! Super happy with the experience and will be returning if I ever need anything else.

Being a LA native has instilled a “disposable” attitude about cars in general. When it comes to autos, car culture has given me an aversion to buying “new”—a personal peculiarity which has extended itselfs to tires. Which is where Colima Tires comes in; they’ve been my go-to used tire spot for years! For between $20 to $40 they will set you up with perfectly good tire!
