My time at Chateau Regent was fantastic! I moved from the PNW to North Hollywood and I'm so delighted that we made the choice to live here. Ruth and Darah are AMAZING. They were great about checking in, offering assistance, and just being overall friendly. The maintenance team is quick and kind. The units (2bd/2bth) are spacious and comfortable. Cannot stress enough how delightful Ruth was during our time there. Highly recommend Chateau Regent!

expensive complex for such a loud building and horrible management. it takes forever for requests to be completed and they always have an attitude about it. ruth is a nightmare to work with. PLEASE. there are so many other better living spaces, do not be fooled!!

Management (specifically Ruth, Jessica is no longer at the building at all) is rude and they steal your security deposit for normal wear and tear conditions. They lives on site and will obsessively micromanage. The building does not have any guest parking access either. There are rarely street spots available on Laurel Canyon so don't plan on ever having visitors. Single pane windows and with the building being right next to the fire department, you will hear every single emergency and there will be multiple loud eruptions every single day and night. Oh and don't forget the 97% of cars that have a decibel level louder than that of a fire truck- it literally shakes the building. The building itself is on a slant and we had to get locking wheels so certain pieces of furniture wouldn't roll to one side of the room. The elevator is extremely small and slow so moving will be a pain. There are only 2 staircases, both of which are in the back of the building and require extra keys to get thru to them. Many times, I found cockroaches and other bugs throughout the building. Overpriced compared to many nicer buildings in the area. Literally live anywhere else. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

The leasing team at this property is great and knowledgeable! I've been searching for a place lately and most of the buildings I've seen the team there don't help much. But Ruth is very nice and knows her information. The property is very beautiful I really liked the choice of colors for the building. I recommend this place to those who are looking for a place !!

I was a tenant at Château Regents Apartments for 11 years. Over the 11 years I had a wonderful experience. The building has had many renovations and updates over the years including a brand new elevator, new windows, gym, laundry room. Every time we had to renew our lease, we were able to request any updates, maintenance, rug cleaning, painting, requesting an exterminator if needed. You just have to follow the proper instructions and chain of command. We always did, and never had any issues with any type of request or repairs needed. I suggest doing your research on the surrounding neighborhood to see if it's right for you. It's a mainly Latin community, that has improved and is growing into a lively, family friendly neighborhood. Schools nearby, fire department and Burbank airport. So you will hear fire trucks and airplanes. Take that into consideration. For me it wasn't a problem. Ruth the building manager, is the reason I decided to always extend our lease. She was kind, caring, helpful and always professional. If you are considering this apartment complex, I suggest making an appointment to go in person, so you can see the updates and meet Ruth in person.

I moved to Los Angeles from New York in 2008 and lived one year in another apartment building . I immediately left when my lease was up and moved here . I've been here ever since ! Not only is the building always super clean but the management team is the best . Ruth is amazing . She is one of the reasons I don't want to leave ! She cares about the residents and the building and immediately responds to anything you need . The building is also kept very well and I have never had a problem with my fellow neighbors. The maintenance crew is also so helpful and takes care of things almost immediately. I absolutely love living here and recommend the Chateau Regent !

I have been living at Chateau Regent for 33 years and we are very happywith this residence and especially the Manager, Ruth. She is very pleasant to deal with and is always accessible.She keeps the apartment house clean. She is efficient in handling repair requests.We are very happy living here and would not think of moving any where else.

Jessica at the Chateau Regent Has been beyond helpful and courteous when I was transitioning into my apartment. I definitely recommend The apartment to anyone looking to live in the North Hollywood area. The amenities they have make the stay Beyond comfortable. Jessica is the absolute best five star definitely.

Not a bad building itself. However, The property manager Ruth is thee absolute worst. Incredibly rude. Incompetent. Very unpleasant to work with. Takes forever to make repairs. Took several weeks to repair our air condition in the middle of a scorching LA summer. The elevator was down last Fall for almost two months. Our apartment had a fly infestation which she took several weeks to inspect and then did absolutely nothing about it. She doesn't treat tenants as a priority at all. Not to mention she is very invasive and disrespectful. My Roomate is Asian and Ruth refused our request to remove her shoes when going into the room. Such a simple request, but her refusal speaks of her character which unfortunately is abysmal. Also don't have frequent guests/ significant others over, Ruth will assume they live there which violates your lease! Please do not do this to yourself. She is one of the worst humans I have ever met. Very unfortunate. The building could be very nice if they would do away with her. Oh well.
