Madalyn is the BEST! I had a pantsuit from my late grandmother that I wanted tailored to fit me and not only did she make all of my fittings fun and comfortable, she also got out some stains that I told her not to worry about because they had been there for so long. I now have such a sentimental piece of my grandma’s closet in my own and I am so thankful that my experience was both professional yet personable (and fairly priced). 10/10 recommendation from me!

After a lot of thought & consideration, I decided to write a review. I came here in August 2023 with my sofa covers & asked the owner if she could clean them. After examining the covers & the photos I took of the covers on my sofa, she said "yes" as the four areas with spots I wanted removed were "dirt, not stains." I was given a quote & provided the required $40 cash deposit on August 18th.
On August 30th I called for an update as I had no sofa to sit on at home. The owner coldly said, "Your covers will be ready on Friday." When I went in on Friday, September 1st, the owner said, "I didn't expect to see you so early," then went on to say that she outsourced the job to someone else (really?!?!) who allegedly claimed that she-the owner-should've charged me "at least twice as much" as they had to be cleaned twice. The owner then said that the covers were "nice & bright." When I got home, the covers were STILL DIRTY.
So, after waiting TWO WEEKS to have my sofa covers cleaned, they were returned in the same condition as when I dropped them off. $175 cash was taken from me with no apology but instead, I was essentially reprimanded for their condition.
It's my understanding that when a dry cleaner is unable to do the job promised, the cleaner should contact the paying customer about the situation and/or try to make it right. That did not happen & I was ripped off. (I also can't help but wonder when she was actually going to do anything with my sofa covers had I not called on DAY 12. )
UPDATE in response to the owner's reply: If my couch covers were clean when you finally returned them 2 weeks later, I wouldn't have made the choice to write my review. Again, it took me a lot of time & thought to even write this because-as you may recall from our lengthy & enjoyable discussion-I recently moved here & have been trying to get settled on the opposite side of the country.
Still, in your response, you made no effort to correct the problem. I'm unsure as to why you're stating that I'm "hurting a small business" when I'm the one who paid for a job that was not completely properly OR within a reasonable time frame. You hurt me.

I've been living in LA for almost 8 years now and everytime I needed a dry cleaner, unfortunately I was not satisfied!Until I tried BONJOUR cleaners!!! This place is amazing. I took a break from cleaners and alterations for a while because I felt like I was always being overcharged at other businesses but this place was so friendly, thorough and reasonably priced that I have thrown those experiences aside! I love coming in and being greeted with a smile and having someone pay attention to the details. I recently had 2 pants altered and the results were spot on!! Unfortunately, I have to say it's not the best place! Do not recommend this place because of customer service failures. I had a pants for a zipper repair. I explained the hooks brake. First the lady told me without checking the problem it's need a new zipper. I wasn't sure this is the case but I agreed. I left my pants. A week later I picked my pants and she told me it was a hook only and I saved money. I was happy because the price was only $4. Paid cash and left happily. Few hours later my phone was ring showing the cleaners calling me. I was on a meeting and did not had a chance to answer. But she called me again and again desperately like no tomorrow! So I left the meeting to see what happened and what so important. She told me she don't know if she given me the right pants back and I need to check. I had the pants with me in the office so I checked it right away. It was a right pants. She told me somebody had a same problem but my pants was needed a full zipper replacement and she stated she made a mistake and change me wrong. I owe additional $12!! I need to go back to pay the balance! I told her when I dropped my pants I explained it could be the hook is the problem not the whole zipper. When I picked up my pants she told me I was right. But few hours later she called me and now the whole situation changed! It's not about the $12 of course! I have that money to pay. But if this was a good business and customer oriented, focused then won't make a big deal of this situation. First she would take a responsibility of her mishap and she should call me to explain the mistake she made and say sorry for bothering you with this I just want to inform you about my mistake. No additional payment required and we waived the amount due to our mistake and love to have you a satisfied customer! Instead she called me and pushed me to go back ASAP and pay the $12 immediately. What a bad experience. They make me feel I run away without the right payment and with somebody else pants! How it is my mistake? No! This is not a friendly place! I am happy I wasn't send for a collection agency and she did not reported to the credit bureaus......

Madeline is the best! I brought in 2 couch slip covers that needed a delicate cold wash as well as a delicate drying process and she had them both done the very next day smelling clean and fresh! And her prices are very reasonable...so much so, that I paid more than what she was charging because I know she works so hard in this hot valley weather! Madeline and her father are the best. They always take care of me like family and they are super detail oriented in a good way and always take care of my fluff and fold and dry cleaning to a T. This is a really wonderful family owned business and I will continue to come here and I’m a loyal customer because they do everything with love and they’re actually good at what they do and it’s their passion. That is lucky.

Be careful they will try to return your items just pressed but unwashed. 1st time i taught it might have been a mistake but she tried it again w another pair of pants and a suit. This time i mentioned it. Avoid this place!!
