“1/16/2024 this lady ran a red light when I was making a left turn and destroyed the rear of my car. After a drawn out lawsuit, I won and my car was sent to this incredible collision center. From 4/20/2024 - 5/23/2024 my car was brought back as if nothing ever happened! All parts brand new and Hyundai owned! It took a bit of time because they had to order specific brand new parts and that right there just shows how much they care about making sure you get your vehicle back better than it was before. Their customer service, communication and commitment to customer satisfaction is 10/10. I am so grateful to this collision center! I bought my first car couple months ago, brought it to them for diagnostics and some initial repairs. Best. Experience. Ever. I got everything in my car checked, replaced all four tires, engine mounts, air filters, and will come back soon to get new rear breaks. Tony was very helpful, explained everything to me, was very honest and straightforward about the prices and the urgency of the repairs. I literally just dropped my car one morning and got it back as good as new the next one. As an unexpected bonus, they also topped off my winch wiper fluid and polished the bad scratch on my windshield. And! They noticed that one of my shiny red valve stem caps was missing and searched all over to get one exactly like the other three. Such a nice touch!

“I was very pleased. I got lucky and they were able to fix my rear brakes right away. It only took about an hour. The price was reasonable. The service was genuinely appreciative and courteous, which is a nice change from so many places that treat you like you are bothering them when you try to give them your business. Best of all, the brakes are perfect now. It was a little farther away from the general auto repair places near my house but I figured I should get my brakes fixed at a place that actually specializes in brakes. First and foremost their mechanics and front office staff are always warm and welcoming. That's a major part of the charm of this family run business. Jesse is a very trustworthy and honorable mechanic. I love that Minitek has a women's touch as well with Evelyn and her daughters always providing a friendly conversation when your vehicle is ready (which makes it welcoming place for my wife and sister to go to as well). They have a mechanic Fernando there as well that specializes in Hyundais and he goes above and beyond to explain issues and layout possible solutions. Jesse checked my tire pressure, my tires, and my sensors and everything was in tip top shape! He just did a reset, saying maybe it was malfunctioning since I haven’t driven in a while. The light hasn’t come back on and it’s been a week ! I appreciate he checked everything out before just swapping and charging me.”

“Bring your car here! WONDERFUL North Hollywood neighborhood mechanic. I called at the end of the business day, prepared to leave a message, but Artin answered the phone anyway. I explained that I had been calling around local places for diagnostic quotes since I did not know what was wrong with my car and it was making a suspicious noise. Artin was so quick and kind to have me bring it in to be looked at the very next day, did not charge me to diagnose the problem like every other place said they would, gave me a quick, clear, informative answer and a fair reasonable price to fix the problem. He's very knowledgeable, experienced, patient and understanding. He was very cool with having me call my engineer/mechanic father and have him ask some questions before deciding to proceed with ordering the needed parts, since I know absolutely nothing about cars. He showed and explained the problem to me up close, and let me take/send pictures to my Dad too. He said "Go ahead, believe me, I understand! My father and grandfather are also both mechanics, I'd do the same thing ?." He will not try to rip you off or overcharge you or pressure you for your patronage. Once given the go-ahead, he had the replacement parts ordered, delivered, and my issue fixed up all in about 2.5 hours, same day. He's within walking distance of my apartment, so I could walk home and wait for his call when finished...but I was so anxious about having to handle car trouble on my own & in an absent minded state that I almost walked home without my apartment keys (attached to my car key chain) ?. He ran after me and called out "wait, Camille, do you need your house key??" ??

He even had a nice little surprise for me when I came to pick it up - he buffed out an aesthetic scratch on my passenger's side from where someone had swiped me a few years back that I'd never bothered to have anything done about. On the house! ?

He also gave me advice regarding my two back tires that are old, of growing concern, and need replacing soon - just out of him wanting me to be safe - he doesn't sell tires and wasn't trying to upsell me for extra business or gouge me for more money. He simply wanted me to know that I should take them somewhere and have them replaced as soon as possible. I really appreciated this, it showed me that he genuinely cares about his customers and is not solely concerned with profit (which is a big issue with lots of other mechanics who will take advantage of you if you're like me and are clueless when it comes to cars).

**Note: The mechanic who used to do business at this location with the same address has a different Google Reviews page and used to be called "North Hollywood Discount Auto Repair" - this is not the same mechanic or the same business anymore, and it should be noted that any bad reviews about the previous owner on that seperate Google page have nothing to do with Artin at "North Hollywood Auto Tech". Artin is the man! And I'm super grateful that I can rest easy knowing that I now have a trustworthy, kind, honest and reliable mechanic so close by. Highly recommend! ?”

“Peter was really great. He asked me to bring my car at 3pm and when I arrived he took at look at my car and diagnosed that I had a blown speaker. He had my speaker size available at the shop and he proceeded to change both front door speakers. I waited while he installed the speakers and in a little over an hour he was done. “I was driving in the rain and all the sudden, the tire low pressure signal showed on the dashboard. It was 6pm on Sunday and it was so hard to find anything open. Luckily, I called Mobile Tire Anytime Hollywood and Marvin picked up and said he opened till 7pm. I was only a few mins away from his location. When I got there, he checked all my tires and told me all tires pressure were good and then he used a device and found out one of the tires pressure sensors is not working properly. Very reasonable price and got it fixed. Would highly recommend this business since Marvin is a very trustworthy man with very sincere manner.”
