Horrible management!!! I tried to get a viewing set up for a listing on a 1bd/ 1bath they had advertised for 3 weeks. No response to calls or emails. Applied for a listing on their website to find out later the real price was $500 more a month than advertised. Had to get refunded for my application for a credit check they never even bothered to run.

DO NOT RENT HERE. What they don't show you is that this building is right opposite the Church of Scientology which if you don't know is a CULT. If you google map the address and spin the camera around you will be face to face with it. Please research it ! No wonder their rent is low whilst claiming to be a luxury building. BEWARE.

I would NOT recommend moving in here! After living her a little over a year, my girlfriend and I moved out due to extreme noise issues (the walls are like paper). The apartment wasn't cleaned when we moved in. We found crumbs, pictures of the last couple that lived there, and pieces of dog food everywhere. When we moved out they basically STOLE our deposit! One of the charges was for owed rent even though we paid the prorated rent already -through a portal mind you so everything was electronically documented! Their system is just inaccurate and our account was never correct the entire time we lived there. We left the apartment in immaculate condition and they charged us to REPLACE the carpets even though we had no pets, didn't wear shoes on the carpet and never spilled a dang thing on it! Also the bedroom was so small our queen bed basically touched all four corners so there was barely room to damage it even if we wanted to!! Unfortunately we'll be taking them to small claims court because we have photos and videos of the carpets when we moved out and they honestly look brand new! Also there was huge problem with hot water a few months while we lived there with little to no response on when it would be fixed. On top of all of that there was a pretty big homeless issue right outside and around the building. An unhinged woman would scream in front of the building and had trash all over the side walk by the front entrance. The empty lot literally had people showering naked and we even saw some homeless people fighting with knives and mace! Also that lot is about to be under construction again in a few months. During the construction it was impossible for us to work from home and our things were falling off the wall from the shaking - PLEASE BE AWARE. The current manager is very nice and did her best to be accommodating but there was only so much she could do.

Its nice living there until you have to deal with Caladan properties. I had my unit professionally cleaned from top to bottom with pictures. It was spotless. I had to actually take them to small claims court to get my deposit back, after fighting for months with the office. They only care about you while you are a tenant. After you leave they will Nickel and dime you for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. I was calling the caladan office and once I mentioned I wanted my deposit back or I'll take them to small claims they started berating me, trying to intimidate me out of it. They fought so hard to avoid court, and the day before the court date they FINALLY gave me 2/3 of the deposit back. That's when I found out this is a common issue that has happened many times before. Avoid this place at all costs, and all caladan properties unless you have an entire legal team ready to fight for your deposit back. The building manager couldn't care less after you move out either. To all those living there now, GOOD LUCK!

Recently moved into Aura NoHo and have been loving it thus far! Our building manager is extremely accommodating and issues are very quickly resolved by maintenance. We also have not had any issues in regards to noise. I would definitely recommend Aura NoHo!!

NO HOT WATER EVER !!Management doesn’t ever attend to this issue or inform any residents. Its been at least a month where hot water is constantly MIA and no proof of being proactive with maintenance is shown.

I would not advise anyone to move here. Especially if you’re going to expect your deposit back or even the written estimate they send you. The written estimate vs the check they sent me had a $800 difference and I was never notified of the change or increase that they were deducting from the deposit. Mind you, I left the unit in better condition than it was when I moved into it. It seems they are charging me from what they did NOT do when the previous renters moved out. So how is that fair to me , someone who kept the unit in good condition after cleaning what they should have already cleaned. I will be taking legal matters (small claims) because I do have pictures and videos from prior to moving in, when I moved out and the unit looks close to the same if not better than it did before I moved into the unit.

I have been trying to contact this business for over a week! There is seemingly one person working for the entire building and based off the other reviews he's a scam artist... I was interested in moving and I sent the tour request on the website, called, went there, called, emailed, called, for over a week calling 10 times a day and nothing! They must not need rentals...

This is a great apartment complex and would definitely recommend. Pretty quiet, as someone who usually is annoyed by noise I never had any issue so no complaints there. Maintenance and the front desk were very responsive. There was also always street parking available for my guests, and the sunsets were awesome on the rooftop. Lawrence and Jordan in the front office were super accommodating, responsive, and flexible. Move in and out was smooth and efficient.

Just moved my daughter in a few days ago to an apartment that was not cleaned. We moved her from our home in Dallas, TX to NOHO and they had over (3) months to get the apartment ready. The floors were dirty (trim splice coming off in the laundry area), refrigerator was dirty, MWO was dirty, dryer didn't work, balcony light fixture missing bulb, refrigerator had a cracked drawing and missing one of the glass shelves, tub was not draining and when you took a shower the tub filled up over your ankles and some of the slats on the blinds were damaged. When we walked into the apt. to do the walk-through the Apartment Manager was surprised that the apartment was never cleaned but this should of been done at least a week ago along with checking all items out to make sure they were working. They did start cleaning as we did a few errands but it was still dirty and we had to clean (will post some pics if I can of the rags we used) before we unpacked her. They did get maintenance up to get the things fixed but this should of been done before we arrived.

First off, one star is beyond generous. Second, I don't post reviews, especially on Yelp. But I'll make an exception since this has been the absolute WORST experience I've ever had at any apartment complex I've stayed at. Where to start? Ah yes, the property manager. Inept. Aloof. Callous. But most of all, feckless. He'll ignore your calls/text for days on end until you have to confront him about it. He'll shrug his shoulders when you complain and voice your concerns, doing the absolute bare minimum every chance he gets. And when your problems with your annoying neighbor who sniffs coke and stays up all night raging has to result in multiple calls to the police and court hearings. Guess what he's going to do about it? Not a Goddamn thing. I swear to Christ this moron has to be the nephew of one of the higher ups in this worthless LLC, otherwise the owner of this place must love losing money. And if you're wondering who that person is just Google "Victor Svilik phone number" and you'll get a direct line to the genius himself. If you've read the other reviews, you'll hear others saying this place is a SCAM. And that's just what it is. I've stayed here since it's inception and when my lease was up they gave me the boot and they'll try to lease my old place for hundreds more. A special place in hell exists for all the people I've had to deal with in this dump. Let's just hope they get there sooner rather than later. Toodles.
