A phenomenal service from start to finish. We had packed up all our belongings before the movers came. They carefully wrapped furniture, bicycles, golf clubs and anything else that was not already boxed. Their crew efficiently got everything packed into the truck within 3-4 hours. The guys were polite and very friendly.Their paperwork was very thorough and Alpha Marine had taken care of all port fees and for delivery to our new home in Scotland. Their agents in Scotland were equally efficient, keeping us updated with regards to the container's arrival in Scotland. Customs clearance was completed within 48 hours and all our belongings were duly delivered by a crew equally as polite and friendly as the crew in California.Every single item that was picked up in California was safely delivered and not one single item was broken.All in all a fantastic experience. Tal and her team at Alpha Marine were so wonderful to work with in my recent move. With excellent service and quick, clear communication, my worries were eased at every step. This is the second time we have used Alpha Marine for an international move. Both times went very smoothly. This recent time was a bit tricky with logistics and timing on our end, but Karen was incredibly patient, responsive and always willing to answer every last question. Our goods were packed up very well in our container as we didn't have a single damaged item! And both times, the companies they partnered with on the destination end were also fantastic. They are competitively priced and know what they're doing. We will continue to go to them for our international moves.

I would and have recommended Alpha Marine to people looking for a way to ship items to Europe. They explained everything very well and kept to the word on everything. Their agents overseas were equally competent. Will use them again if I ever need to.

It was a great experience to do business with Alpha Marine. My shipment was delivered around the expected time. Everything was intact when it arrived to my Spanish final destination. I was informed about the itinerary of the shipment and the needed documentation at the port of destination at all times at all times way ahead The delivery went fast and very well coordinated.Again, the whole process was very positive and exceeded my expectations. I am so happy about it!

Alpha Marine was incredibly unprofessional and difficult to work with. Karen and Jerry are unresponsive by email (refusing to answer basic questions about the process and the timing) and seemed genuinely offended when I called the office to check up -- Jerry refused to come to the phone at one point. Alpha Marine failed at every step to provide basic communication about receiving the container, and Karen was actively rude. Alpha Marine consistently requested documents at the last minute. I was never provided with a list of what I needed to provide, but I did get multiple "emergency" requests for what are clearly a standard set of documents -- why not just tell me what they needed from the start? They failed to schedule the delivery correctly (they had 2+ months to plan), and then charged me extra fees (over and above what the port would have charged) because they didn't have a delivery team available for several days. When I asked simple questions about why this happened, Karen became angry on the phone, would not explain, and threatened to hold my shipment hostage unless I paid. Unbelievable. If I could give them zero stars I would. Complaint filed with the Federal Maritime Commission.

Amazing service and care. We had a container shipped from LA to Melbourne by Alpha Marine. This included art and sculptures, we had a 1.5m x .8m neon sign that was important to the family. This is very delicate and fine, it arrived in perfect condition as did all the art work, crystal decanters and other fragile family pieces. We have had our lives shipped all over the world and this was the best service.

My wife and I recently located from California to Slovenia, and based on some research here and with the Better Business Bureau, we decided on Alpha Marine and their Slovenian counter partAGS. The moving crews on both ends were friendly and professional, and our things arrived slightly ahead of schedule. Both companies were good about communicating all steps in the process, and there was a tracking link to follow the progress of the shipment. It was great to get our things--we're very happy we went with this team.

Outstanding care and professionalism by all the staff from Alpha Marine on importing all my belongings in a full container from Los Angeles to Europe. From the initial contact to the very end of the process everything was explained and handled very well by them. I am very happy that I chose them and will use their services again in the future when needed .

Easy first contact. I had a lot of questions and appreciated good responsiveness from Jerry. The team who came to pick up and pack the few pieces of furniture we shipped was very efficient and kind. It took longer than expected for our shipment to arrive but on the French side we also had a great team delivering. All seems in good shape though we did not unpack yet.

We are very satisfied with our Alpha Marine international shipping experience. In 2022 we moved from California to Norway. The Alpha Marine staff in California were very good communicators—we did not have to sit on the phone listening to “…your call is very important to us…” We got through to our agent, Jerry, (or someone on his team) quickly. We received the same quick reliable response when communicating by email.We chose to pack everything ourselves except furniture. We ended up with approximately 150 boxes.The moving team on the California side were late in arriving but kept us up to date via phone as soon as they realized they would not arrive at the agreed-upon time. They continued to communicate with us until their arrival. Once on site, the team worked quickly and efficiently and had our 3-bedroom + cottage + 150 boxes inventoried and packed into the moving van in about 5 hours.The team in Norway was equally efficient and friendly. We enjoyed the crew. A cutting board handle was broken upon receipt, but I packed that myself—my fault. One leg of an upholstered bench is loose, but it is a fairly easy fix I am told. All-in-all, considering our furniture and household goods required a 40-ft container, we can say everything arrived in good order.We are very happy we chose Alpha Marine as our international shipping company.

Alpha Marine Inc, did an excellent job moving my stuff overseas. Jerry was very patient in helping us go through the process, explaining and answering every details/ questions we had in mind. Alpha Marine Inc., with the collaboration of Speedpak Moving, made all my expectation to the roof as I received all my belongings safe and in good condition. Excellent from front end to final delivery. Great price for extremely professional service. We shipped household goods from Los Angeles to Italy and everything went exactly as promised and as we expected.
