There is no better spot in the valley to get high quality Platanos Maduros. Owners are super friendly and know their product well. I always stop by when I'm in the mood for a Nicaragüence breakfast the next morning!

The tacos were tasty, but really basic. Salsa is extra, cheese is extra, everything is extra. Expensive for what you get in my opinion. Always busy. Not enough seating or parking for the amount of business this place gets. Service was okay, not very friendly. Tbh I think as an outsider this place is busy more for the sake of LA nostalgia rather than actually being really great.

A great place to go when you're in the mood for a gringo style taco. These aren't little street tacos, so that reflects the price. And I'm totally cool with that. I usually get a bean and cheese burrito and a taco with cheese and that always hits the spot. The salsa is nice and cold and no thrills. Good to take home or enjoy inside the restaurant. And there's always a lot of people here which speaks to how good it is. A true LA staple that doesn't get talked about enough. Definitely would recommend. :)

TLDR: Don't believe any of the good reviews here. Maybe it used to be good. But it is NOTHING to write home about now. Titos tacos? 'Trashy Tacos' would be a better title. Or how about 'Grandmas Old Saggy Titos Tacos'. Sounds appetizing right? NO. Just go to Viva Fresh, or Benny's Tacos, hell go to Taco Bell. Not here. Lived in the culver city area for about 10 years. Driven past this place countless times but never tried it. Well today was the day my girlfriend and I decided to chance it....and MAN what a disappointment. First off, what kind of 'mexican restaurant' doesn't serve quesadillas or soft tacos? They only have about 10 things on their tiny menu. We ordered some of their 'titos tacos with cheese' and a 'tostada'. The 'tostada'...is the size of a small taco, with shredded lettuce and cheese, and a slimy thin layer of refried beans slapped on a tiny tortilla. Just nope. The tacos themselves were...'ok'. But probably some of the least memorable tacos I've ever had in my entire life. Well, that's not true, I WILL remember how bad they were. Every order comes with a bunch of super dry bland chips and salsa. Hey, the salsa was actually not terrible...I'll give them that. But I could only eat about 4 of the dry chips and that's it. The prices are not that cheap either for the actual amount of food you get. We finished our 'meal' and had to go elsewhere afterwards since this was more like a snack. Everything about this place is 'barely good enough to pass'. At least we didn't get food poisoning...or so we think....Regardless, will never eat here again, and hope this review convinces others to spend your hard earned money elsewhere, because these lazy nefarious imbeciles don't deserve it.

Overrated and overpriced. Enough said....what a shame. Food used to be good until they got greedy. Ownership change maybe? Whatever it was they messed up a good thing. Coulda been an LA staple. Now just another drive-bye spot. Too bad Tilly's tacos in Gardena shut down. Try Toms tacos in Torrance. Your wallet and stomach will thank you. And Stay away from Tito's and humble this establishment

I hate writing this update. Tito's Tacos was a planned stop on any and every trip to SoCal. The place hasn't changed. The food hasn't changed. The service hasn't changed. The long lines haven't changed. The prices have. And they've changed a lot since the last time I went here, in a way that in no way mimic the C.P.I., unless it's Metro Los Angeles's very own C.P.I.. I waited there in line wondering what it was all about. I wondered if it was now priced higher to pass on wages and benefits to help their employees make a go of it in SoCal and that's what they're funding ... or if it was about pricing in reflect their storied popularity. If it's for the former, I can understand that. If it's for the latter, I doubt I'll make it a checklist stop going forward. Two weird things happened on this last visit. First, the crevices creating ledges for pigeons under the 405 were gone! I noticed this because I was prepared to make a dash under the freeway since I parked on the west side of it. Second, this one lady employee got weird with me. I devoured those 2 cheese tacos in no time but also had to finish off the chips, which are also good. The problem is that I was given one tiny little plastic container of what is their fairly unique and delicious salsa and it wasn't enough for the bundle of chips. So I asked this lady for another one. I even asked her in Spanish! I don't know if it required an extra charge or what, but she didn't seem to get it and I just walked away thinking "fuggedaboutit." SoCal is changing at such an accelerated pace and, while it will never be "Brady Bunch" land again, most changes, in my opinion, are not for the better. Tito's Taco's food is still very okay (4 stars) but their prices no longer are (2 stars). That now balances out to 3 stars.

That was then, this is now. Tito's USED to be a must stop location. You could always count on a really good meal for an affordable price. You could tell that they were doing things right because there was a line for days-but it didn't matter because you knew that you were gonna get a memorable and epic meal on a working man's wage. That was then. Now, something has definitely changed. I can't imagine it's owned by the same family, because things are different now. There is a whole different vibe going on. One burrito, two tacos and one soda cost me 20 bucks. That's ridiculous. Oh, and the burritos are about half the size they used to be. If you ask any old time customers they will tell you that the burritos were so jam packed that would routinely bust open. That was okay though-it was part of the deal. And they would fully pack the box full of chips. I literally had about a dozen chips in the box-that's it. I went there last week and I guarantee you that I will NEVER go back. It's lost is luster. I would rather remember the olds days rather than have my memories sullied by what's going on now. Too bad.

Me and my wife enjoyed 2 Tito's Hardshell Tacos, 2 Tito's Hardshell tacos with cheese and shared a large coke for $16.65. The food was simple and included a tasty, non spicy salsa and chips. This place was on my bucket list so we finally tried it out. Service was surprisingly quick and efficient for how busy this place is. I wanted to quibble about the the value for 4 tacos but I understand you need to charge higher prices for food to survive on the Westside. Ultimately, would I go here again? YES. The beauty was in the simplicity of the food.
