Good Afternoon To All, I can't speak highly enough about the Language Grove school and their staff. I feel extremely confident in the staff at their method of teaching and working with our children. Not being a bilingual speaker (But currently working on it), our child has excelled tremendously with his Spanish in 2 years. The staff is kind, hard working, and our child is very happy when he comes from school. We started off with 2 days a week and now have him going 3 days a week. Mrs. Yesi is wonderful to work with, she takes pride in our children and give details on our child every day he goes to school. We're the second family member attending the school, and potentially a third family member next year.

I absolutely love this school! I love that my child can truly be a child in his school setting. All the staff are always so nice and polite. I truly appreciate Yessi, she truly understands and provide support if need. Thank you Yessi, for always being so understanding with my family.

This daycare treats their employees like complete garbage hence why they can’t keep the same staff for more than a few months…. So can you imagine how the kids are getting handled? No thank you

Let me start by saying that I “attempted” to enroll my child here, my child hasn’t attended. When I first called the lady sounded nice at first but then became rude when she found that I receive CCRC, it became apparent that she didn’t want me to attend the school, from her behavior on the phone. After waiting 4 months of waiting for a call back from them, I decided to call and see where my name is on the wait list. Apparently there’s a waiting list for this school and you need to wait for a call from the to book your tour. To my surprise, I was appalled to find out that my name was never on the list to begin, the lady I first talked to never out me on the list ? I’m currently on CCRC, and when I first mentioned that to her when speaking the first time, I automatically felt discouraged and discriminated against, she seemed passive aggressive and let me know that the deposit for this school is $2500, she then told me are you going to be able to pay this? I told her yes, I would be able to pay this but if there was a payment plan I can set up, she said no. I eventually gave up, I wouldn’t want my child to attend a school that only cares for the money and not the children in their care and I say this because she never asked me anything about my child, never ? good luck to all others, I just wanted to share my experience because I’m fed up with the lack of professionalism and care children and parents are receiving constantly.

My little one has been attending LG for the past 2 years. The Language Grove has been a blessing for my family and I. There is a sense of passion, fun, attentiveness, endless support for students and parents, and an overall welcoming learning environment. The school itself is full of gardens, plants, nature, and so much tranquility, which have all inspired my son to become curious and excited in learning about the world around him. This truly feels like a second home for my son. He has learned so many important developmental skills from socialization, world history, calming strategies, instruments, play, and a love for nature and animals. The Spanish immersion has also been amazing in supporting my son in staying fluent and competent in Spanish. Ms.Yessy is so knowledgeable and nurturing, along with all the amazing and loving teachers and staff! The class pets also provide emotional support and love to the children and families. Together, they have given me so much comfort and peace as a parent. I know my son is loved and respected at his school. I would highly recommend this school to all! Especially those looking for a unique and culturally competent preschool. Thank you so much LG, we are so grateful to be a part of the school community and family!

My kid only attended for 6 months which still felt too long for me. I tried to avoid engaging with the director. Did not like her personality. Too many strict rules the kids and parents need to follow. For example, my child had to change clothes because he was wearing a shirt with a dodgers logo on it when I was only to ld they couldn't have superheroes and princesses on clothes. Multiple little nonsense rules like that. The staff and director was never polite about communicating the rules. It's a very "My way or leave" attitude. Also, there were fines for every little thing, like if you're late by 2 minutes to pick up your kid. Even if you have never slipped up before, they will still give you a fine. The kids attending never seemed estatic to go to this school. There was never any room for silliness or playfulness and this was the major factor for me. Bottom line, I would not recommend this school.

I can not say enough good about this school. My 3.5 year old son goes here and aside from the Spanish immersion he gets incredible attention and care from all the staff. The environment is warm, and there is a sense of community that you don't typically feel at a school. They allow him to be himself while urge him to be open to new experiences. He loves playing outside as there is a focus on outdoor play and getting messy! The activities that pull parents in are also great, Trunk or Treat was especially fun to see how creative all the families get, and the joy it brings the children to have their families participate in the school environment. If you think language development and character building are important this is absolutely the right place for your child.

This school was amazing to attend, I went here decades ago. I hope the staff is doing well, and i hope one student named "Patrick" is doing well. he showed me and helped me build my roots for friendship as a whole. I visited here a long time ago after my attending of it to find one teacher had passed. May she rest in peace. I recommend taking your child here if you live in the area.

This is a great school and I had a great time here as a toddler, even though it has been awhile every teacher and staff member truly cares I loved this place and I hope the people I met here are doing well, i would recommend it to any parent.

I was denied a tour of the school because my daughter did not have a 2 parent household. I’ve never heard anything like it in my life. One of the most insensitive things especially without knowing all the details.

Our child attended the Language Grove Preschool from 18 months 'til graduating. In fact, he continued attending post-graduation due to our family's dire need of childcare (both parents were first responders/essential workers during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic). Because Ms. Yessy fosters a true sense of community at the school and (she) is an understanding, considerate director/mother and human being, she worked with our family to provide our son with the needed child care. Now that our son has moved on to elementary school, we reflect back on the wonderful community we were a part of at LG. Our son was fully engaged at LG; developed great friendships and skills there (including getting a fundamental grasp of the Spanish language). We found the teachers and staff to be warm, caring, supportive, and committed to our son and to the school community as a whole. The communication between and within the admin team, staff, and parents was superb. Our family fully amalgamated into this beautiful school community by joining parent committees, participating in or volunteering at events and developing good friendships ourselves with other parents. I have no doubts that we set up our son for future success in every way by sending him to LG. My family could not be more grateful for being a part of the LG community.
