Didn't have the soldering iron that I wanted but I can't complain the store saves me so much money and the staff is so friendly I can't say enough great things about this place.”

“I'm impressed- a lot of items you won't find in a Dollar Tree- yarn, a large selection of acrylic paints, name brand products (I picked up a small bottle of Clorex brand bleach & saw Fabreeze, Tide, Dove on the shelves). But, be careful; there are many items- like the Fabreeze, Tide & Dove- that are priced higher than $1.51, but they do have big neon price stickers on them indicating the price. Also, store is well organized & fairly clean & employees actually pick up the phone! Also- the website is pretty good to get an idea of what they have in inventory (just know that prices- especially of anything listed at $1.99 may be lower in-store).”

“Called the Valencia store looking for Cotton Nautical Rope. First person said he never heard of it. Second person didn’t know anything, third person told me to call tomorrow morning to talk to the manager.I called Newhall, they knew what I was talking about and put four aside for me to pick up. “This is a large 99 cent store, but, beware, prices are all different now... Prices went up 4 cents more so instead of it being $1.25 that it was it's now $1.29... If you have the time, seldomly, will you find items for 99 cents, I found a candy box of dots for that price.”

“I stopped by this Dollar Tree with my sisters this morning right when they open. I wanted to see what kind of Halloweeb decorations they had out and was looking for a solar powered pumpkin. They had some great selections of Halloween decor but I didn't find the solar powered pumpkin that I was looking for. My sister was shopping for arts & crafts materials so I walked around the store to see what else they have. This Dollar Tree store is pretty big so more than likely you'll find something you might need. This Dollar Tree is not in the best location, there was a homeless person outside asking for spare change and the store is outdated. They also sell balloons here as well if you need that. There was only 1 checkout aisle open when we came so we had to wait a while since the person in front of us got a lot of stuff.”

“It's a good location and has alot of variety in items but it seems their running a scam at the moment they never have plastic bags and are offering to give you one of their bags they sell for $1.25 .... other than that and them discontinuing certain foods and chips it's a good dollar tree. Service can be slow if there's a long line. Often there's only one employee handling a line of 8 people and I spend 15min of my break waiting in line thinking I'm just going to be there for 2min to grab a drink and get out.”

“Service is good. Great selection of items that are hard to find in other similar stores. They seem to carry items that might have been discontinued. It's a great value to be able to find what you are looking for. Parking in the back, entrance through the parking lot. Self parking, even though it's a large self parking area, most of the time is full. It's one store, but it seems like a mini swap meet. A little bit of everything.”

“You find everything, a good assortment and quality, but not so much, you know that some things don't turn out that good... But that's what you expect when paying those prices...Although there are already prices for all $$$$, even things that you find cheaper elsewhere... you have to check carefully... Everything starts at $$1.51 plus tax and if you want a bag, it costs $10 cents.This store is definitely a salvation when you need something urgent and you don't want to order it online.”

“This was a quick stop for some odds and ends which also proved to have been very interesting. I'm pretty sure that most frequent shoppers have found that the average item sold at these stores no longer cost 99 cents. In fact the average cost per item these days are between $1.49 and $1.99 depending on the item. It certainly isn't what it once was some 3-5yrs ago. Perhaps they should consider rebranding them as "THE TWO-DOLLAR STORE"!”

“Just like the 99 Cent Store, few things are $1 now, however Dollar Tree does a better job pricing things so you don't go up to the cashier and get surprised of the price. Dollar Tree is starting to become the better place to shop instead of the 99 Cent Stores which price gauge much more on basic items. Cashiers seem faster and more competent at their jobs too and friendlier. Occasionally, there are not enough cashiers, but even those working alone keep the line going fast.”

“An economy class store, there is almost everything from chips and candies to tools for home repairs, gardening, painting, etc. The low price corresponds to the quality of the goods. There are also good goods here, but you have to look for them, instead of just going in, seeing and buying. All in all, an interesting chain of stores.”

“The staff here is wonderful! I am elderly and handicapped, and walking is very painful for me. And the handicaoped parking was right by the door! A sweet lady named Dana carried my boxes to my car for me, and the dark-haired cashier was so nice. I hope they both get a raise! They do their jobs with a smile.”
