Eight years ago, we bought two silkie chickens from Amber Waves for my daughter to take to 4H fairs. Eight years later, my daughter is now in college, and her partridge-colored silkie is still happy and healthy. She even lays eggs quite regularly!

We got our little silkies here over 10 years ago and the first one we got is still alive and super healthy. And he was only 2 days old. All of our other chickens that we got other places lived about half as long. Definitely get your animals here. Hoping to be able to get more soon

I always say you can tell a lot about the cleanliness of a place by the smell. I went to pick up my silkie yesterday, and let me tell you that my chick smelled wonderful, absolutely clean, happy, and so cuddly and sweet. If you're going to get a Silkie, this is the place to go! Absolutely wonderful! They put a lot of hard work into their animals and it truly shows. Thank you for sending me home with some pamphlets, chicken feed, and a gorgeous little bird. Definitely coming back here for future silkie purchases!!!

deb worked with me when I asked for no live virus vaccines in my unsexed chicks since my flock is clean and you never know what the vaccines have in them these days. Also she and I had issues with the post office and I was able to help her get the form so other people can get refunds if chicks arrive late 3 -4 days in the box is unheard of and the post office is rude these days.I didnt actually apply for the refund because they needed a copy of the post office receipt but I wasnt worried to much they all made it safe and sound, hoping she can work with them now to get the refunds to people who are getting full sized birds. I also had just one lone roo left before the purchase since a fox took out my flock but now hes raising the chicks they ride around on his back, sit underneath him to keep warm . they all like the heat lamp to. He is so happy to have birds like himself again and not having to run with the polish hens. thanks deb hoping to do more business in the future.

Comical at this point, went back to get my promo for the mess up and they gave me the wrong order!! So I had to go back and fix it . Certainly, first word problems but this location needs to get organized .

We love our silkies and goat we purchased from Debbie. Emily Rose, aka Oreo, our goat is the sweetest little companion my children could ever have wished for. We also purchased 4 silkie chics with no prior experience raising chickens and with the help given by Debbie with her lifetime support, we quickly caught on to raising them successfully and we are so happy with our decision to bring chickens into our family. They provide hours of fun in watching them play around our backyard. Their feathers are so cute! They look like furry little chickens running around with such friendly, docile personalities. I'm hoping to purchase a dog next from Debbie because the quality of her animals are superior than any other breeder we've researched. I highly recommend purchasing your animals through Amber Waves / Debbie.

I am a first time silkie chicken owner thanks to Amber Waves. I got 3 silkie chicks back in September from them and they are my favorite pets I've ever had! Debbie, from amber waves, is so sweet and I've even emailed her a few questions after I got my chicks and she was so helpful and replied so quickly! I appreciate her help so much and my chickens are just the absolute best! If I ever get more silkies in the future I will 100% not purchase them from any one else other than Amber Waves. Thank you for my 3 girls! I love them so much!

I adopted 5 rooster chicks from them. I arrived and they were ready with the chick’s information. They even gave us a ziplock with starter mash. What a lovely and pleasant surprise. Very nice and professional couple. I highly recommend doing business with them .

I have purchased a total of 12 pygmy goats from Amber Waves and would get more if I could. The quality of the livestock is the best you will find anywhere and I have been extremely happy with not just their animals but also Debbie's ongoing support and assistance. I have reached out to her several times and she is quick to respond and always interested to know how my "babies" are doing.
