I'm hoping that it's just that the young man at the counter needed better training. I'm a 70 year old who was making a purchase at Ace and I asked the young man if I could use their restroom. Was told that the 'public' was not allowed to use their restroom. I wasn't pleased with that answer and it must have showed it on my face. The young man then wanted to know 'just how bad do I need to use the restroom'? I told him that 'I recently had my prostate removed and didn't have a lot of bladder control and needed to go badly or I wouldn't have asked'. He sent me to the back of the store to go ask another employee if I could use the toilet. I like to support local businesses, (and avoid driving all the way into Lakeport) but I find this totally unacceptable to tell a paying customer that they don't allow the public to use their restroom. I'm hoping that if it were the owner behind the counter I wouldn't have had to plead my case simply to use their facility.

We searched far and wide for 1lb propane camping canisters during a national shortage before making a desperate stop at this seemingly humble store. Despite low expectations of a fruitful visit, we stopped anyways. However, after finding a bullet shell in the parking lot, I knew this would be the place. The shelves were full of propane and we walked away satisfied.

Lake Builder Supply (Ace Harware) in Nice Doesn't have a large selection; but they do tend to have what you will need for your home maintenance needs. The staff is friendly and eager to help. Also. The prices are fair.

They have a surprising amount of stuff in this store! You will likely find everything you need for any small project or repair job around the house. Staff is very friendly and helpful so you won't spend hours looking through aisles of inventory.

For a small store they have a lot of amatory. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for something simple and fast.

If I could, I would have given a lower rating, because since this is the only supply store in the area the staff thinks they can treat people very rudely. They just lost a very good customer. We will be going to a store where people treat you like you matter and not like you are an inconvenience

People there are really helpful and nice good place to shop however today took a part back for a refund and they refused to give my money back had a receipt now will no longer shop there
