There is a gentleman named Hector at this store who is not only a nice guy, he returned my wallet after I left it at the checkout stand. I love to write reviews of courteous people. hector is the one of those people.

I really love this RALPHS!!! I go just about every other day for their locally sourced fresh organically grown produce wether it's nectarines peaches apples watermelon mangoes bananas potatoes rosemary oregano and fresh thyme jalapeños and they're fresh cheeses on display all the hummus that you can pick out of every different flavor in the world that you can think of and their meat selection is amazing I highly recommend that if you're in the area go visit this place and they got a very cool gift card section they organized and you know there's no mess it's just a really really really nice Ralphs

Thank you to David C. for helping me out. Without getting into detail he offered me the best customer service greatly easing the burden of an injury I've been dealing with. Thank you again Hector!!!

Employees are not very friendly, especially blond lady in floral department. Cashier and box girl also needs a course in customer service.I'll be shopping at the Ralph's down the street on 17th from now on.

I found everything ok. The only bummer when I got home was that I bought a brioche bread that said it was on sale for 4.49 and when I got home and looked at the receipt I got charged 7.49 full price which bummed me out

(This is for the meat department) I never leave reviews on grocery stores but i really had to let it be known, the meat manager David is awesome! He's well knowledgeable on all his product, I had to follow him when he transferred stores! That's how great the service is. Definitely check out his meat ;)

Formerly managed by Lauren, Ralph's Grocery on Irvine Road in Newport Beach was the epitome of a top - rate grocery store for its comparatively small size and location. Lauren was a sensitive and kind manager , who had a marvelous way with both employees and customers. Fast forward a few years with the continuation of Covid and the addition of a number of self-check-out registers, and the complexion of Ralph's Grocery has changed. Katie is Manager now and she is professional and adheres conscientiously to high standards at every level. She is not unlike Lauren, but her style is a little different, she is serious and caring in a different way. The staff is friendly and wonderful to the customers. There are many new faces now; a few terrific people have retired. One relatively new person has joined the staff as a couple of years ago and she wears many different hats ! Her name is Abigail , and she is very accommodating to customers and the staff. This food store is a wonderful place to shop - both for its selection and for the wonderful people working there. Bon Appétit !!

Allowing people to beg for money outside the store every time I go there. Just got followed to my car with my baby by some man begging for money. Need to protect their customers if they want to keep them.

I was at the cash register paying and I ask the assistant that was helping the cashier Karen with bagging my items if she could put them in the car. And she gave me this attitude, like if she didn't wanted too. Her name is Adele. I did had more order and I didn't wanted to get confused. I think she needs to have a better attitude to be working with customers.

Best shopping in California It's so strange in San Bernardino county I walk into Ralph's and nobody says anything about masks everybody just goes about their own business some people wear masks some people don't and no one acts like an idiot or a Nazi. But then I go to Ralph's in Pasadena or Glendale anywhere in Los Angeles county and everyone in the store acts like a freaking Nazi. They all throw up their Nazi arm salute and point at you and tell you to wear your mask just like good little sheep. It's time that every business stands up against this tyranny and we ignore the rules of these stupid authoritarians. Grow some freaking balls or mind your own freaking business. Or people will stop doing business with tyrants that listen to other tyrants and then tell everybody what to do

It's really too bad that our neighborhood store has gone so downhill. They want you to do all your check out yourself but you have to stand in one line to do alcohol and there are eight people in one long line, and we need a new grocery store to go to! It seems they don't care, as there are four empty lines with no checker, only one in the entire packed store!

The sushi kiosks in all Ralph's markets are individually owned by AFC. I have a ongoing issue with All the kiosks ( in Ralps) for a long time because I suspected they keep thier sushi defiantly longer than one day..they have no date it's made on..so you don't know..and some of it is very old. They are supposed to remove the day old sushi..per Ralphs rules but they don't. They remove some but the more expensive things..they dont remove and pass it off as made that day. Ralph's kind of passes the buck because they are an independent contractor..its fraud and I'm sick of it. The Ralph's on Tustin has ausome management and staff..and recognized it is a problem..Irvine and 17th..NO ..dont care just want to pass the buck so they don't have to deal with it Picture is all old sushi..ewwww.

I used to work here and while I worked here for 10 months I saw a whole lot of corruption The manager Louis is the most corrupt of all. I would not shop here if I was you they do not care about the customers at the end of the day The sales representatives are hostile there is no reason to shop at this Ralph's when there is a Ralph's down the street so save yourself the trip of being harassed and humiliated just while you're trying to get groceries and go to the Ralph's down the street
