I was racially profiled in your store and I was really taken aback to the point that I asked the security guy to take a picture of me paying for my things that I was buying to let him know that I was paying for the items that I had! When I was asked if I had ever shopped with Bloomingdales/ I said yes the young lady at the counter asked for my phone number. So, I gave it to her she said oh, You're not in our system would you like a Loyalty card? I said sure. the man came even closer toward me for some reason. I am A Black man and when the Security said he was in lost prevention his odious look was very disrespectful which was why I asked him to take the Picture of me paying for the things on the counter. I felt Embarrassed and Profiled

I loved everything about this store! The beauty of the store’s layout and displays, the warmth and friendliness of sales people as well as great customer service. I worked here for about four months when my husband and I were in transition with jobs back in early 1998. I loved working here and wish I could do it all over again.

Space NK has a variety of brands and products which makes it easy to find what you need. The staff is helpful and polite. There are occasional events, like facials, and hair styling that are fun as well.

Goodbye Kiehl's. Just like everyone else, I defaulted to Kiehl's when I decided to start proactively taking care of my skin and for a while,​​ they worked for me. The products largely worked as promised, the system was easy to navigate, and they were (generally) generous with samples so I was able to compare products. After some time, ​however, the customer service became too much to bear​. I stopped going to the brick and mortars and their online experience was actually worse (lost shipments, missing items, slow shipping times). Then I found out they are part of L'Oreal thanks to Yelper Tracey A. up in Marin County and that was it... I was done. After several people suggested that I walk away from NYC's bloated brand of Kiehl's and try Los Angeles based Marin + Goetz I found myself​ at Space NK in the Bloomingdale's at Newport Beach's Fascist​ Island and I will say that it was a refreshing change. The service is exceptional and they have forgotten more about skincare than I will ever know. The transaction was seamless and there was no being talked down to or lost packages to be troubled with. All of the brands available are best in class and they are almost sample​ "happy". As I left I wondered what took me so long to quit Kiehl's. There is no question that Marin + Goetz is a superior product to what I was using and the headaches of Kiehl's is now out of my life. I highly suggest Space NK to​ anyone looking for an apothecary without the hassle and pain of the "big name" brands.

I love love love SpaceNK which is located inside of the Bloomingdale's store in Fashion Island. I've been a customer for 5+ years and have been guided by experts like Joey, Amanda, Talia, and several others. The staff here really know their stuff and treat their customers with respect. They have even offered me and my friends mini-facials to let us try their products and/or to introduce my friends to skincare. They have products from moderately-reasonable to very expensive. It's all worth it! My friend who got me hooked on facial / skin care once told me, "You only have one face and you should spend good money to keep your youth"! Words of wisdom. I've pruchased Zelens, Eve Lom, Cane & Austin, Ren, Rodial, Malin & Goetz, By Terry, Tocca, African Botanics, and a plethora of other skin care products that have made a HUGE difference. I oftentimes go places and people stop to ask about my skincare routines. You truly get what you pay for. Thanks ladies and Joey for teaching me how to take care of and pamper myself. Joey said it best - "skin care at night should be the time where you pamper yourself and allow your skin to rejuvenate ... you deserve it for all the hard work that you do during the daytime".

Thank you ladies !! This is located inside Bloomingdales. I came here to get some things that were suggested to me by a friend. I was looking for a specific product but was offered a quick mini facial. I let the woman know I was limited on time however she let me know that it is fine and will only take 15 min. She grabbed another associate and she started showing me the radical skincare line. Taking time to explain what each product does along with how and when to use. Long story short I ended up purchasing several items from the radical skincare line and love each and every one. I can already see a difference in my skin and it has only been a week. :)

This store is located INSIDE Bloomingdale's at Fashion Island, Newport Beach. I like visiting this store because they always have a great selection of items on hand that are not always available at smaller stores. The consultants, especially Amanda, is very knowledgeable about skin care, hair care and cosmetics. I feel as if I am being treated like a VIP and that personal service is being delivered whether I am just making an inquiry about a product -- even if I'm not ready to make a purchase. Samples are provided and the consultants teach their clients how to use the products. What is even better is that if you run low on a product and don't want to run down to the store, you can call the store and they'll ship the item to you free of charge (if they have it in stock). Whether I make a purchase in the store or by calling on the phone (no matter who I talk to on the phone I'm always treated professionally and my transaction is handled quickly and easily), I always find free samples of product in my "little brown bag" (this is what Bloomingdale's has named their shopping bags). Space NK offers a rewards program called NDulge. The store sends out reminder notices by email to let customers know when rewards points are about to expire. I really like this because I know that if I don't use up my "free money" I'm going to lose it (because I'm not keeping track of when those dollars are going to expire). Some of the products offered by Space NK can certainly be found at other stores, but in order to find the collection of products offered here, you'd have to visit three or four other stores. However, some of the items I've never seen here, specifically, the skin care items, Iver never seen anywhere else. Space NK does have a website and once you sign up for the NDulge program you do receive emails (not too many) that try to entice you to buy things online. However, purchasing skin care, hair care, and cosmetic products such as those available at Space NK Newport Beach is an experience that really can't be matched online. The personal experience, the communication with a true expert "face-to-face," the ability to feel the product on your skin, and to see what it looks like on you can't be replicated online. This is a store that is worth visiting in person.
