Lucy's custom couch store in Newport Beach is an absolutely furniture-fan sofa-lover gem! Lucy, the owner, feels like family from the moment you walk in. Her energy is just always enthusiastic and fantastic, and she truly cares about her customers. The sofas are not only beautiful and factory direct, but are completely customizable — which means you can literally imagine make and find and customize the PERFECT sofa for your home — period. She’s awesome and won’t disappoint!

I’ve had one good and one bad experience and unfortunately, the bad outweighs the good. Lucy was really helpful when recovering a couch the first time with no issues.
The second time I came in to recover a couch I was 9.5 months pregnant and nesting so I was trying to getting ready for a baby (my fault) and get a couch covered but I was due in a week and my husband pushed me to cancel the order. The called the next day to cancel but was convinced to keep the deposit down until I was ready.
When I called back months later, after follow up to see if I wanted to do the couch, we had changed our minds and didn’t want to cover the couch.
Lucy was prickly on the phone, was shouting at me, wasn’t professional or diplomatic and kept going back to text messages of me pushing back getting our couch done. Then had the audacity to say she felt I was hesitant about money from the start…seemed really out of line and uncomfortable to say that to a customer.
She said it didn’t matter if I was a customer since I was canceling the order. Sad to say this was such a negative experience and wasn’t dealt with very well on their end.

I am a returning customer! I bought a custom chair four years ago and had a wonderful experience then! I hand picked it out, fabric and all. Wonderful help in designing my living space. Now, I've decided to reupholster the same chair. I was able to sit down with Lucy and design it perfectly. I had such exceptional service once again. It was as if I had an interior designer and didn't even have to pay all that money. I had help and it was a wonderful experience. I will continue to go to Sofa U Luv for anything else that I need in my home. I highly recommend it for anyone needed comfortable living.

Manager does not honor the posted schedule, she closes the store one hour earlier. I drove 40 minutes to get here, waste of time. I can't tell quality of furniture because it was closed in business hours.

My wife and I are loyal customers! Lucy is fantastic to work with and the quality of their work is second to none. We've purchased many couches & chairs from all the major, high-end furniture brands over the years and these are every bit as good, if not better, in terms of quality and custom options. We recently had 2 RH chairs reupholstered and they're better than when we first got them. We've also had a custom couch built for our new home and have more custom projects in mind. 5 STARS!!!

Purchased a beautiful love seat here from Lucy, and she made it such an amazing experience. The down-filled cushions are extremely comfortable and slipcovers are still taught after over a couple years of constant use! Lucy was awesome with helping us out choosing color, style and fit for our home. Delivery was on time and smooth -- definitely recommend for anyone looking to adding comfort in your living space and an easy process

Sofa U Love in Corona Del Mar gets my five star rating! From deciding on fabric, cushions and the ideal way to create my very large sectional, store manager, Lucy went the extra mile to make sure every detail was executed beautifully.I have been getting my sectionals and chairs at Sofa U Love for many years and they never disappoint. The quality, pricing and customer service is outstanding. The delivery men were also extra professional, careful and caring. You can't go wrong with Sofa U Love!

Great product and great service. I was looking at comparable sofas that were 3x the price. Also, you have multiple choices for the type of slip cover you want, the shape of the arms on the furniture, etc. Lucy provided outstanding service, even putting a rush on my order once she learned I had just moved to a new place and didn't have any furniture. Finally, it is great to support a local business. My couch was manufactured in the LA area. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Lucy was fantastic and I could not be happier with my sofa and chair slipcovers! We have three dogs, so having machine washable slipcovers is a necessity. Sofa U Love has a huge variety of fabrics to choose from and the washable linen is absolutely stunning. Her prices were better than anywhere else I contacted and I got everything super quickly!Highly recommend Sofa U Love in Corona Del Mar!!

These guys are really amazing esp. the store manager Lucy, she's very helpful, has an amazing taste, perfect in matching colors, fabric, cushions, she made my place similar to a showroom.The quality of materials is really nice, long term low maintenance.I recommend this place and for sure recommend lucy with her nice attitude and hospitality helping you out.

After one week i got our custom made sectionalAll the cushions sinked after 4 times going trough a frustration and hassle of redo it check the photo how they fixed it one foam made of pieces foam glow together and the other cushion are sinked againI am sick of tired of dishonest and cheep quality they made sofa’s never ever trust this company and don't go trough massive frustration as me and my family did going to report BBB
