I was extremely disgusted with the service at Raybans, Newport Beach. I came to the store looking to exchange a pair of Raybans that were purchased online.The pair I was originally looking to exchange them with wasn’t available in store and he said in order to get the pair I wanted, I would need to return the purchase and rebuy the ones online.I had the receipt present and had clarified from the beginning that they were given as a gift and purchased on a different card so I would just want to do an exchange or put a gift card.Both my mother and I were under the impression that the “return / re-buy” was only meant for exchanges, in which the other item I was exchanging it for was not purchased in store. So I found a pair in store I liked and asked if I could exchange them. The associate said yes and without further clarification, he went in returned them even after I explained from the start that I did not want them put back on the original card.The associate did not try to help or resolve the problem. I tried asking if he can void the sale and he said he can shoot an email over to someone later to see if they could. He also made a comment saying “you’re not the customer, your friend is cause it was purchased on his card.” So apparently, no one should ever be gifted a pair of Raybans and expect exceptional customer service. I’ve worked in sales all my life and in retail at a very young age, never would I think that’s an appropriate comment. If he was clear from the policy from the start and assertive, I would have bought another pair no problem but there was no way I was giving that store my money after that. My mother and I drove an hour just to leave with nothing and be told we’re not customers so it doesn’t matter.

I visited this location in the morning on September 15th and was greeted by a man named Jacob, IIRC. He was very friendly and told me to set aside any sunglasses I was interested in. Fortunately it was love at first sight with a pair from the Scuderia Ferrari collection. Jacob was prompt in serving me and was able to get me a sunglass lanyard at a discount as well. Thank you for assisting me in purchasing my favorite pair of sunglasses ever!

Great group of people. Friendly, intelligent, customer-oriented and driven. I had the pleasure of speaking with the Mgr of the Fashion Island location and he was informative and helpful. 5-stars!

on the site the price is lower, when you come to the store the price for the same glasses is higher. Nobody in the store helped us. In the end, our order was rejected. I'm sorry you wasted so much time. I do not recommend this store!

Tried a few other eyeglass options and couldn’t get anything to fit my face well. Ray-ban’s a classic look - kinda crazy they have a whole store dedicated to just a few silhouettes but I bought some wayfarers super stoked! Less stoked on the price - sales team was rad though couldn’t quite tell me the difference between the low end lens and the mid-range for my Rx.But I’m glad I finally found a solution for my eyeglasses.

This store is great when you are looking getting a fresh pair of shades due to the many different styles that they offer in store. However, it is pretty small and it gets crowded fast. People are grabbing and trying on glasses then placing it back on the shelf. No one is wiping the glasses and I didn't see anywhere if they offered a cleaning wipe so that I can wipe down the glasses. It was challenging to get assistance since it was really busy when I went. I ended up not purchasing glasses. The little help that I got was completely useless, I was looking for a specific pair of glasses and the lady didn't even try to help me find them or something similar. She said " if it's not on display, then we don't carry it in store."

The best custom service! Can't rave about them. Ask for Paloma! She is lovely, quick and kind. Gave me best recommendation on spec after losing my favorite pair! Def coming back!!!

They don't answer their phone I bought some story sunglasses dark blue frame with a dark blue polarized lens at Sun hut the battery wouldn't work properly the glasses with die in just one day I tried to get the same color lens at lens crafter and they told me these glasses were on recall.

I first want to say everyone is very nice who works there. But I had to wait quite awhile to have new sides put on my sunglasses as the only person in there was an optician. I felt that there should be another person working in there to help others who are not getting their eyes checked. It took forever!

They're open, again!! I'd resigned myself to Sunglass Hut (at Macy's) and on my sad walk there, hallejullah, the doors to Ray-Ban were finally open. Great location, flattering lighting, & Jacob was super helpful.

I drove an hour to this location and took time off work, only to discover that they're permanently closed. Their official website and Google states that it's actively open, however, the sign has been taken down and it's under construction, transitioning into a Rowan boutique.

Came here last weekend and got sunglasses. Came back this weekend for lenses for a different set wnd they're just gone
