Jerry Fontaine, I unfortunately learned is not one to be trusted. I went there a few days ago to take a look at the 2006 Lamborghini. He had every excuse under the sun why it couldn't be test driven even by him. So he said If I wanted to test drive it i can come back with a Cashiers check for the full amount ($110k), and if I don't like it, they will give it back. Naively I believed him at first, but after talking the bank on the risk of such a decision I learned that all they would have had to do was keep the check and not give it back and the the cash was theirs no matter what.
Lesson learned here, the old folk story is true, Never Trust a Slimy Car Salesmen.

Couldn't ask for a better car buying experience. Jerry Fontaine made a lot of dreams come through this week as we purchased a 2017 McLaren from him. Usually we have to read every little detail and run the numbers ourselves when we buy a car to make sure they are accurate, but with Jerry it was all explained in detail on the first try. He was thorough, honest, and so professional. It's not every day that you buy a car, but the next time we are in the market I won't hesitate to work with Jerry again. Thank YOU for a great experience!

IF I COULD GIVE THIS BUSINESS O STARS I WOULD!! AVOID PURCHASING A CAR FROM THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! AVOID MICHAEL "MIKE" ALIBRANDO and JERRY FONTAINE AT ALL COSTS!!
Sad to be writing this review but unfortunately my experience here with Jerry & Malcolm ended up poorly.
They will lie to you and screw you at every corner.
I purchased a used car that I was told was "a great deal" and when I went to bring it back Jerry told me they were about to bring it to the auction if I hadn't bought it....
I brought the car back 3 months after purchasing it because I am unable to get the car insured. They offered me 50% of what I paid for the car... 3 months later.... honestly ridiculous. They said they felt bad for selling us this car and they will help us, but they think they are helping by offering me a 30k loss?? I'm honestly offended.
I know how much they care about their reviews and try to encourage reviews so here's an honest one...
DONT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!!!
They also sold me a way overpriced warranty plan. I tried to cancel within my 30 days and they messed up and
"forgot to hit send". So I still have not received a refund and hopefully I do. They ended up sending the wrong amount and then taking extra money out of my loan account!! they robbed me. they did not return my money from the warranty!! mike refuses to refund me my warranty money and the finance money...
Not a fan of this scheming scamming dealership. Avoid Jerry Fontaine & his lies!!! Avoid Malcolm & his low ball offers!!
Avoid Laura Madrid she's super weird and rude!!
They basically told us they lost out a good amount of money from depreciation hits on G-Wagons so they're trying to pass that hit off to us!! AVOID THESE SCAMMERS THEY WILL TRY TO GET YOU IN A HORRIBLE DEAL AND THEN CALL YOUR FINANCE COMPANY AND STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! Avoid Phillips Auto & Cornerstone!!!
They will tell you want you want to hear and sell you a car with tons of issues and then take your $$ out of your loan account!!!

Bought a car two weeks ago and had it shipped to Wisconsin. Upon delivery the car said battery low and check engine light cane on. $2,500 later I picked up the vehicle to only have the check engine light come on again. In pictures and videos sent to me before purchasing I could see these warming lights on after looking closer. I feel mislead at every level. I am from a long distance away, but I would recommend having your own mechanic look at vehicle before trusting them. This is beyond shady. Consumers be careful!!!!! Unfortunately now I have to get legal help. I also had oil leaking . My story is almost identical Jose who gave a review 2 weeks ago. Sakes guy Jerry was great unfortunately he doesn't have a company that has integrity.

You automatically lost my business when you call a potential new client “bro”. Try being professional.

Lets start off with “I should have known better” & “too good to be true.” I purchased a pre owned vehicle from this business on March 2024. My sales rep Mike Aziz was overall pleasant to deal with. The reason of this review is to enlighten all from the “typical” used car dealer tactics.
At first the price listed online was changed on me once I was interested in the vehicle. They did the “oh it was a mistake on our end the price was listed incorrectly.” Me still being very interested in that specific vehicle I proceeded with the paperwork for purchase. I am located across the country so making this purchase was nerve wrecking & a learning experience at most. I should have known the price change was the first hint on what to expect.
Secondly once the needed paperwork work was processed and deal was funded as usual you would expect them to start working on insurance/title/dmv/etc. While I worked on getting the transport company scheduled for pickup, not much was done on their end. I was told to start working on getting a temp plate in my state so i can have it ready to drive once it arrived to me. Now it took just over a week to receive the vehicle and about the 2nd day in possession I got notice that they starting working with dmv/tittle company. It took exactly 1.5 months to receive documentation & legally have the vehicle on the road. Yes I was told the process takes some time and it was up to dmv from my state to a certain extent. As mentioned before i wish they would have just started the process earlier as soon as the deal was funded. Meanwhile I was told wait time shouldn’t matter because I said it was going to be garaged. That is up to me & not them nor anyone to decide if i want to or can drive the vehicle. I purchased it and plan on doing what I please.
Fast forward to the point where i can legally drive the vehicle I go ahead and schedule an appointment at my local dealer. I bring it in for inspection and they do a walkthrough of the vehicle on the lift & you can clearly see it has a pre existing oil leak on the drive axle on one side only. I then go ahead reach out to my sales rep and he claims there were no issues prior. He provided all these documents stating no leaks, no problems, etc. As seen in the pictures attached, that is a pre existing oil leak. You can tell it’s not fresh due to debris build up. I requested assistance on the repair and was simply told no. I called the following the day and spoke to the general manager Michael Alibrando & in his words to me “i will not partake in any needed repairs. Once the vehicle is sold, I wash my hands with that transaction. Especially after 2 months.” Just WOW. Don’t forget it sat for 2 months with no option. I have worked & still am currently employed for a big automotive dealership for the past 12 years. I have worked for many of the top well known manufacturers which has made me learn “once a customer, always a customer.” I am more upset of how they handled this situation than the actual problem. I have never personally experienced such a poor attitude from a dealer who is well known with a very respectable inventory. They do have some top high end models but as they said once the unit is sold you are on your own. They no longer care for you or any future business. Keep in mind the vehicle needs some maintenance done as well but all I requested was assistance on the oil leak repair. I was told multiple times that I should have purchased or purchase an extended warranty now. Again the issue was pre existing. With 12 years of knowledge and work skills 3rd party warranty will not cover pre existing failure from a purchased date.. If attempted to claim that is called fraud. Sorry for the long review but it has everything as a whole what to expect from your typical highway used car dealership from start to end. You’re just a next number.

Sold my 4 year old Honda Pilot to the Phillips Auto Group in Newport. Carre handled the inspection and entire transaction - no "T O" system here which was great. She gave me a fair price having researched used automotive sites and taking it to a few dealerships for quotes. The sales transaction took less than 30 minutes and I left with a check in hand. Highly recommend Phillips Auto!! Thank you Carre!! SCF

We sold our car to Phillips Auto and appreciate Phillips Auto made the process stress free. We were surprised by how past it was. It probably took less than 20 minutes from when we arrived to walking out the door. Trevor and Malcolm made us feel that they wanted our business and their offer was higher than Carvana. Glad we found Phillips Auto.

Jerry from Phillips Auto was great. I flew into Orange County Airport (Which is only about 15-20 minutes from the Dealership.) and Jerry picked me up in the car that I was coming to test drive. That was a nice touch because I was able to do some real world driving vs a quick trip a few blocks around the dealership. Jerry even offered to stop at a nice little French pasty shop and buy me breakfast (or lunch). I recommend you take him up on the offer. Back at the dealership he did an excellent job of going over the car (Which was immaculate by the way.), talking to me about different warranties if I wanted and, ultimately, filling out all of the paperwork. All in all it was an excellent experience and the car exceeded my expectations. Jerry was awesome and very easy to talk too. I highly recommend you ask for Jerry when you call Phillips Auto. One last note, their cars are very nice and very well priced. If I wanted to be a mini-Jay Leno (and had the money), I saw a bunch of cars on their lot that I would have taken home.

Phillips Auto was easy to work with. No attacking me while looking at the car on the lot. No high pressure and closing the deal was fast and easy. I bought a 2015 Jaguar F-Type in prime condition with an excellent CarFax report.
