So far so good! I visited this location for the first time today to make a return. It's a shame some of the previous reviewers didn't have the same customer service rep I had, because Deanna was outstanding! She greeted me kindly, was friendly and efficient while processing my return, and she genuinely seemed happy to be at work helping customers. I told her it was my first visit versus being at a Nordy's store, and she was excited to tell me about other perks of utilizing this location (next day delivery versus home delivery which can take 3+ days, earlier opening time, as well as other benefits.) I'll definitely be back for other services when needed. Sometimes you don't want to deal with the full-size store, so it's great to have this local shop. Thank you!

I stopped by here today to return a few items for my boss and the two sales associates/representatives at the front were some of the nicest and most pleasant women I've ever come across. They not only helped me seamlessly return the items, but they made my entire day better just by their sweet demeanors and meaningful conversation. I hope this review finds them well because I didn't catch either of their names! Thank you for putting a smile on my face!

I absolutely love this Nordstrom Local Newport Beach near my home! It is so convenient and easy to find parking rather than going to the mall. I mainly use it to pick up orders or to do returns, but I know they do offer other helpful services as well. The past few visits Tracy has assisted me. She was super friendly and helpful and extremely professional! Her kindness and efficiency handling my transactions is what keeps me coming back! I highly recommend visiting this location, you won't be disappointed! 10/10.

This place is basically just taking up space. Besides their extremely limited services, the employees are rude and stop answering the phones at least 5 minutes before closing at 7pm. Being on crutches I need curbside pickup. But apparently expecting pickup at 6:55 pm is asking too much of their employees. I finally got out of the car,at 6:59pm and,as I walked up to the door on my crutches the employee turned off the lights. Not what I would expect or have ever experienced from a regular Nordstrom. I'd rather just go to Nordstrom at Fashion Island since they have better hours, way nicer employees and is close enough to this location.

Oh my goodness ,I don't know where to start. Amazing just amazing. There is such a big selection. Very clean. Lots of employees that offer their help in assistance to you. I will definitely be shopping more at Nordstrom's and Nordstrom's rack. Both places are awesome.

Great place to get gift cards! You can also pay your bill, do returns, or get alterations. Close to where I work, too.

As someone who shops pretty much 100% online and doesn’t want to shop in store, nordstrom local is perfect. The one thing I need to do in person is alterations and I find this to be much more convenient + faster than needing to go into a full nordstrom store.I’ve had no issues with just walking in for alternations and I’ve had a range of alternations done from simple hems to more significant tailoring that have all turned out great.I no longer live in the area, but will sometimes bring alternations back with me when I visit because this location is so much less hassle than getting nordstrom alterations by me.I only wish there were more of these in other parts of the country!

Nordstrom Local has single handily converted me to a Nordstrom consumer. The team is delightful, quick and have saved me time and time again. Need a quick wrapping (at no charge?) Check! Next day pick up? Check! Easiest, judgement-free returns, check! Quick try one or alternations? They really do their very best given we are ALL in a time crunch. Isn't there a commercial that's : Get in. Get out. Get on with your Life? This is exactly what this place has been for me. Perfect for my Nordstrom & Nordstrom Rack returns. I love Nordy, so why this place didn't get 5 shining stars is because one time they made me take store credit instead of giving credit back to credit card despite me having receipt, etc. If you're a nordstrom cardholder, you get credit for alterations. There's a seamstress at this location; however, I hear it's weekssssss out to pick up an order. I inquired and that's how I got the timeline.

This location is extremely disorganized and makes mistakes regarding orders. I would highly suggest making the drive to South Coast or Fashion Island rather than paying a visit to this Nordstrom Local.

I went to Nordstrom Local (17th Street) return hoop earrings I had purchased two months prior. I had not kept packaging b/c I liked them and planned on keeping them but the click-in locking mechanism on the back wouldn’t hold. I went to Nordstrom Local and was the only customer in the store. The customer service person (Tamra ) was not super friendly and told me “we would need the original packaging because we don’t know anything about it…”. When I suggested she look up the the purchase on her computer and she did -but rather begrudgingly. She found the purchase from 2 months prior pretty quickly. She said she would do me a favor and take them but said again, “normally we need packaging”. SO, The product was defective, which she could test herself, and she could see it was the same product I purchased in April. So my question is: Is there a policy at Nordstrom that does not allow returns without the “original packaging”? Who keeps the packaging of things they decide to keep? I questioned her about this and she said something like “I’m doing it for you”, like it was a favor. I’m confused. I’m an icon member…but felt like I was at Sam’s Club.
