I've brought my 100 lb German Shepherd here several times and Dr. Rizk and his staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure my dog is well taken care of and that I am comforted and well assured he is in good hands. Every time I pick up my boy he's got nothing but a big ole smile on his face! Highly highly highly recommended!

Dr. Rizk and his whole team at NCAH are wonderful. The front desk is always so welcoming and Ive trusted Dr. Rizk with my babies for 6 years. He has performed multiple emergency surgeries on my two mini english bullterriers, and they love staying at the pet suites when i travel. This Dr. loves animals and it shows. I highly reccomend this Veterinarian.

I have been coming here for about 6 years now. When my last dog was sick with cancer, Dr. Rizk always made himself available to answer my 1,000s if worried mom questions and would check in on me after my dog passed. My new dog is now under the care of Dr. Rizk and I am confident she is in great hands!!

We surprised the kids with a puppy for Christmas and we brought her to Dr. Rizk for her check up and puppy shots. Our new puppy, Roxie, got soooo much love from the staff. Dr. Rizk took such great care of her and even followed up with us after our visit. Shortly after I had to bring Roxie for boarding because I had a training for work that I needed to attend. Roxie got her own special suite and it was just the perfect living space for her. I called in frequently to check on her and she was doing great! When we picked her up she was happy and had been loved and well taken care of! I'm so glad Newport Center AH is a place we can trust and feel secure in knowing our pets are loved and cared for. Thank you Dr. Rizk and staff!

Dr. Rizk and his amazing staff are just incredible and everything you could ever hope for in a vet! I love knowing that I can fully trust them with my little dachshund Slinky and that even he LOVES stopping by to pay his vet friends a visit. Definitely recommend this place! Your pet is guaranteed to get all the cuddles.

I brought my dog here a few times and the people seemed super friendly but I did notice it was more expensive than most places but for the convenience I kept bringing my dog here until my dog got injured and the vet recommended immediate surgery. The vet was being extremely pushy and saying how he knew exactly what was wrong with my dog and that he needed surgery right away. What seemed odd is that the vet NEVER even touched or looked at my dog from closeup. He pretended like he knew exactly what was wrong and wanted to put my dog under to start surgery. My dog was just a puppy at the time and he was walking with more weight on one leg than the other. After the vet recommended surgery, he left and immediately his assistant came in the room and wanted to me to sign a document agreeing to pay a few thousand dollars for the surgery. I was concerned that it was an excuse to make a quick buck out of me and it would actually hurt my dog since no one actually checked him closely to see what was wrong. I went with my gut and left this place. The next day, I took my puppy to another vet that specializes in dog hips and legs. They said absolutely NOTHING was wrong with my puppy and that he definitely DID NOT need surgery. They couldn't even believe this vet was suggesting surgery. They said that was absurd. The other vet diagnosed my puppy and gave my puppy pain medication that lasted 10 days since my puppy was putting more weight on one leg than the other. The other vet said it is usual to see that and the pain medication would allow the puppy to not have pain for a few days and thus start walking normally again. WALA! It worked! My puppy is super healthy and happy.Thank God I went with my gut and did not allow this vet to put my puppy under anestesia and perform surgery that was not needed.

Over the years I've taken my dog here on and off to both the play group and the groomer. She has always LOVED the playgroup and the people there and up until today I had never had an issue with anything. She had been groomed there many times and it always came out looking great.....until today. I went to pick up my wheaten terrier & I got an Opossum- BY FAR the worst haircut I've ever seen. While they did refund me 50% for this haircut I should have been paid. I could have done it myself and it probably would have looked better- she looks like they used a weed whacker on her. I am at a loss for words. It's funny, but it's also not. I just cannot wrap my head around what they were thinking while cutting her hair because she objectively is hideous (but I still love her). Clover on the other hand now appears to have a complex and she refuses to walk by the standing mirror.

convenient, clean, and my dog seemed to love it. would have liked to have a recap of her activity and any issues that may have been seen that would require her to be checked out. i will definitely use them again.

I have been bringing my English bulldog to Newport Center Animal Hospital since he was a little baby. And we will never go anywhere else!! From grooming appointments, lodging while out of town, allergic reactions, weight and health checkups...this has been our home and there's no need to look any further. Dr. Rizk is a godsend!!! He's honest, gentle, and you can tell he loves animals has a genuine respect for his profession and strives to educate his clients about their pets. The staff are so sweet, competent, friendly, and endearing with every single visit. Trusting your pets care with others isn't easy and in the past I've had other animals and taken them to other establishments and sometimes you feel guilty or wonder if your pet is being treated with dignity. I've never had those thoughts or doubts when it comes to Newport Center Animal Hospital. It's your one stop shop for all your pet needs and you can be assured your pet is in the best hands. My dog is always happy to trot his thick physique through the doors whether for a bath or medical need. He's familiar with the staff and the excitement that he exudes when there only tells me he feels safe....what more could you want?

Such a great experience! I am the proud new owner of an 8-week-old Doberman. This is the first time I've owned a puppy and as a first-time owner, I had A LOT of questions. I adopted my little pup from a breeder in Texas and wanted to make sure everything with his health was okay and get his docked tail checked out to make sure it was healing properly. Dr. Rizk was patient and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions and I felt he and the whole team truly cared about my doggie. I would recommend this vet to anyone and feel confident in the care/treatment my Doberman received. I'll be returning in a few weeks for his next round of shots!

Do not come here. Our worst vet experience in the past 8 years. The "boarding" they have here are just cages and I can't believe that people their dogs here for long periods of time. Our regular vet was booked and our dog had a fever and what looked like an ear infection. The vet was horrible, walked into the room didn't touch or say hi to our dog. He took him back and kept him back there for an hour. Then comes back and proceeds to tell me he does indeed has something going on because he put something in his ear and he yelped. The receptionist comes into the room and suggest I pay 700+ just to treat his ears. 200+ to get whatever in his ears checked out under a microscope, another 30 just to be able to use a camera microscope to see what's in his ear (you would think this would just be apart of the examination fee. The list goes on, they want to charge you for every step of the process. We later found out the antibiotics he prescribed does nothing for our dog. AVOID this vet, he's one that will do anything to get money out of you.
