Very helpful and friendly customer service. The rooms are large and well equipped, the bedding is wonderful, and the pool, hot tub and breakfast areas are great.

What a lovely hotel!!! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. Simple for our needs. Only negative is room walls were thin (we could hear other guests easily) but staff is kind and the amenities were nice! Bikes were great to use and they held our luggage all day after we checked out which was really nice. Highly recommend and cant wait to return!

Had room 101. Amazing view of the surfing/ocean. MAKE SURE YOU MAKE PARKING RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE! Rooms are old but everything was beautiful. Close to every kind of food you can think of. Windows open to get that fresh open air! It’s loud in the area due to restaurants so close but it still is amazing.

We stayed here in a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen, and everything was great. We were there in November, so we needed heat in the evening and air conditioning during the day, and both worked very well.Rooms: Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff brought sheets and blankets so we could use the pull-out couch. The Kitchen had everything we needed, and it had a counter with stools with just enough room for 4 people to sit and eat.Nearby activities: The main part of the hotel is on the "boardwalk" (sidewalk along the beach side of the Balboa peninsula) and they have other buildings just behind, but still only a few steps from the boardwalk.Safety: They have a gated parking lot, but they still warn you not to leave belongings in your car. We saw some minor police activity nearby late one night, just drunk & disorderly kids outside a bar.Walkability: There is a great walk/run/bike sidewalk along the beach just outside the hotel, like lots of places in California. We did not walk anywhere else in the area.Food & drinks: Continental Breakfast had great choices - muffins, toast, pastries, bagels, instant oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, cheese, coffee

Delightful boutique hotel, wonderfully helpful staff. The rooms were compact but spacious bathroom, with an actual bath tub ?Fabulous location literally on the beach.I borrowed one of their bicycles & cycled down the beach to Balboa, a delightful way to start the week.I will absolutely be staying here next time I come to NewportWalkability: Walk straight to beach, to surfing lessons, to all the lovely parts of Newport BeachFood & drinks: I’d a lovely glass of wine from their bar, to enjoy while I watched the sunset

This was a great location. Very easy to get to. Great restaurants and shops and bars as well as supermarkets etc. The place I stayed in did not come close to what I viewed as the rental. The bathroom next to my room has mold. There were no condiments or paper towels. If you rent this place bring everything you may think of. Parking in the space in back of this place is for small cars like a Fiat or a motorcycle. I had a very hard time getting my Mazda cx5 in. Luckily I'm a great driver.

Loved staying at this place, only wish we could’ve stayed longer. The room was small but well appointed. I think the shower was the highlight. The room we selected was definitely best suited for a couple. We loved that it is right on the boardwalk and beach. The staff was very helpful. They had free bikes, towels and chairs you could borrow which made the stay even better.Walkability: Very close to several restaurants. We ate right next door and it was amazing.

Beautiful place! They have everything available to relax at the beach like bikes, chairs, towels, etc & a continental breakfast & coffee all day. The staff is very welcoming & helpful. Beautiful rooms! We’ve just arrived to our stay at this hotel, and we are already blown away by the customer service. Our room’s AC wasn’t working properly and it was very hot and stuffy. We mentioned it to the staff and they immediately jumped to address the issue. The manager upgraded our room and took care of our parking for us. Absolutely recommend staying here!

I cannot say enough about this place. The location alone cannot be beat. We enjoyed coffee multiple times downstairs right in front of the window looking directly at the beach, and did the same upstairs a couple times too.The room was small, cute and quaint- clean and cozy and the bed was comfy too.. perfect for me and my best friend on our first girls tripI paid for parking which was a huge plus .. cause once I parked, I didn’t move for 3 days lol. Small continental breakfast offered with things like bagels and muffins, hard boiled eggs, string cheese, fresh fruits - it was the perfect small bite to get your morning started ..and the coffee was DELICIOUS! FREE rental of bikes, that was amazing .. each person at the front desk each day helped us carry out our bikes out the door without even asking and the bikes were nice!! One set of bikes we rented, the manager referred to as “the Cadillac of bikes” and boy, was it ever ! The staff alone was the icing on the cake of our stay.. customer service was top notch. Everyone we came into contact with during our stay was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and just great to interact with. I cannot wait to stay here again. Keep up the amazing work !!!!

Great location on the beach. Convenient to plenty of restaurants and places to grab a drink. Very nice rooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely stay here again.
