Called to have cats brought in to be rehomed and they’re saying that they can no longer accept any animals. Seems sto be an ongoing issue with every “sanctuary”. Sounding a lot like the McDonald’s ice cream machines always being down. Would not recommend having anything to do with this organization.. they’re just lazy and in it for the money

The staff is wonderful and always happy to see people, they take great care of the cats. This is where I adopted two of mine. I would reccomend them. The facility is always perfectly clean. Go voulenteer fill out a application and adopt. Thank you.

I found the perfect cat and now my family and i are truly grateful with this place. These people do an amazing job. All the cats look happy and ready to get adopted! But definitely they helped me to get the perfect one. Its been a week since we met Harry, our beautiful blessing, and we make sure everyday he feels sure to being in his forever home❤️

I cannot say enough about this facility and its employees. They helped me with an abandoned litter of newborn kittens when multiple organizations wouldn't even return my call. They gave advice on how to take care of the kittens and keep them alive, they helped me find a foster and were so happy and helpful through the whole process. Seeing the santuary they have for senior cats is impressive and heartwarming. The whole experience makes me want to support their programs financially and possibly even foster myself. A great group of people who care about animals like I do. JENNY!! you're amazing,thank you so much! She went above and beyond for me and the kittens. If you want to donate to a good cause, this is one of them. :)Please have your cats spayed and neutered!!

You can just feel the good energies when you walk through the gate of the National Cat Protection site. To the left is an enclosed vibrant garden and to the right, cats that are in retirement. Then, Just beyond that, there is another gated enclosure that houses kitties that are available for adoption. Protocol asks that appointments are made to initiate both the visit and the process of adopting . I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff to us . Jenny expertly answered all our questions , even going beyond "closing time" to explain everything. A staff member accompanied her to assist in any way she could. The next day, my son and l were greeted by other Staff on duty and were invited to complete the interview process in the office. What more could the people of Newport Beach ask for in a cat rescue facility? The surroundings are bright and colorful with darling murals on the walls depicting a sea-faring motif with cats. Everything is clean and pristine. All the cats are well taken care of and healthy. The staff and their kitties are happy and vibrant. National Cat Protection is a GEM ! Thank you for such a happy and positive experience at your facility.

My hustand and I r retired own our Owen home and have had cats before. Fill out form and the said we couldn't meet their qualifications. Would not tell us why.
