Michael Nusskern is my favorite store! Everything I buy looks amazing every time I wear it and just being in the beautiful store is so inspiring, the styling, textures, colors and of course the energy and style of Wakim and all the whole team...it’s so fabulous! And of course I love seeing my jewelry with such beautiful clothes. Their esthetic is unique and modern and so fun to make into your own individual style. A must fav!

I came into the store with no expectations. The two women that helped me were beyond incredible. Customer service is their number one priority. I felt comfortable I didn't feel judged the place was immaculate and the clothing selection was second to none. I highly recommend paying a visit. This isn't my first time there nor will it be my last. I feel compelled as I was truly overwhelmed with the sincerity of the ladies that were there.

Very disappointed in this lovely boutique's not honoring a gift card that expired 3 months prior. Truthfully, one would spend an abundant amount beyond the gift card in that shop anyway.

I would give this store 1000 stars (if that were an option) for the following reasons: 1. Fantastic customer service. My definition of that: 1) associates are not pushy, 2) associates tend to know all customers by name, 3) associates make good suggestions regarding choices/inventory, 4) associates are honest about what looks good and what doesn't on customers, and won't tell you that you look good when you don't. Therefore you are assured of looking GREAT if you buy their clothes. 2. Outstanding buying/ selection. My definition of that: 1) clothing you don't see everywhere else, 2) you won't look like a mannequin if you wear their clothes, 3) you won't look like a billboard or advertisement for a huge corporate behemoth if you buy their clothing and 4) you will look like a discerning individual who has taste and can editorialize her wardrobe to accentuate her most positive features. 3. Diverse selection for different occasions/ events. My definition of that: 1) casual hang out around the house lounge wear, 2) comfortable go out with the girls/close friends wear, 3) go to work and look great wear, 4) travel in style wear, 5) go out for a night on the town looking beautiful wear, and 6) drop dead evening wear that will impress everyone who sees you. 4. Lovely store location. Newport Beach across from Rogers Gardens near Gelsons. Is there a more pleasant place to shop? 5. Reasonable prices for the quality, the manufacturer, and the design of the garments. One of the things I like most about this store is that while the clothing tends to be lux, the prices have a correlation to the intrinsic value of the garments. Personally I dislike paying for labels, stickers, logos, and brands. I would rather pay for style, for design, and for quality. The buyer here, who also happens to the owner, has a killer eye for this combination of value and price. 6. Personalities. Yes, you read that correctly. The owner is one of the nicest, most accommodating, most reasonable people I know. He is a pleasure to talk with, always friendly and positive and encouraging, and never ever pushy. The associates are similarly kind and thoughtful and very enjoyable to spend time with. The customers who shop here regularly, and there are hundreds, know that this is a very special place and they treat it as such.

I am in love with this boutique! There are constantly new items. From dressy to casual, fun coats, cute shoes and boots. This shop owner knows his clients. The knowledgeable staff makes suggestions but is not put off or pushy if you do not choose their picks. I rarely leave without buying, but if I don't that is alright too. Their emails and instagram posts always highlight items as they arrive. LOVE!

This is the only place that I will shop. I have bought clothes from other stores and I always regret it. I feel like a million dollars when I wear something I bought at Michael Nusskern and I always get compliments. Plus, you have all the support of the staff to help you put an outfit together or sift through their inventory AND they have the best sales! I got a $370 jacket for $117. You can't beat that.

I have been in their Fashion Island location and taken a peek before but decided to check them out this week at this location. Definitely unique pieces but nothing that spoke to me. The high price tag would not be an issue if this was a Chanel designer piece but unfortunately nothing was that outstanding. I love a forever piece but I left because I felt a bit uncomfortable. The lady was nice but when she came over to where I was looking to fold t shirts I did not feel welcome. I have never, ever felt that way before. Unlikely I will return.

wow, the jeans were marked $385! They were on sale for. $80, and they fiT. I couldn't open my wallet fast enough. The customer service was kind of freaky. The very stylish cooling man was great and upbeat. There are jackets for $4k and t shirts for $300. When I was there it was kind of cute because a woman told her 9 year old son to sit down and ignore the bill she was paying. She told the little guy he was just like his dad and to stop worrying about money!

First time at this awesome boutique today, and I was really impressed with both the selection and the customer service! Love, love love the Isabel Marant and Raquel Allegra, along with other designers you don't see every day. The store a nice and bright, dressing rooms are big, comfortable and have flattering mirrors. On top of that, the service I received was outstanding and really makes me want to go out of my way to shop here. I had first called their other location to ask about a jacket - and the sales associate on the phone went out of her way to verify that the Fashion Island store had it. When I showed up to try the jacket at Fashion Islans,(among many other items), they had it all ready for me to try. Everyone working at the store could not have been kinder and more helpful - and I was just a brand new walk in customer. They were very helpful in suggesting things that I might not have picked myself, but which ended up looking fabulous on. And they were great at checking up on me while I was trying, without being pushy. I only walked out with one item today, but I am certainly looking forward to the next time. Definitely worth checking out while you're in Fashion Island. P.S. They have two locations: the address associated with this Yelp entry, and the Fashion Island location. They are immediately adjacent to Nordstrom at Fashion Island.

Nice unique collection of brands you will not find at other boutiques. Great merchandising job. BUT poor customer service. If you are a regular there spending thousands of dollars each time you come in you will get all the attention you need and more. If they do not know you - forget it. Usually I like shopping at small boutiques but in this case you might get more attention in a department store.
