I stoped by couple of weeks ago, the guy was too pushy and started replying (this is too expensive for you I won’t tell you the price) we literally had the lamps and coffee sets they sell so WE DO NOT NEED TO MAKE A $500+ PURCHASE THAT WE DO NOT NEED!!! I ended up buying a backpack last minute, I go back home to find the chain is broken and it really worths half what I paid ? few bucks isn’t a problem if the customer service has some class, but we found none at this location.

Alright, picture this. You're with your parents and brother, and you walk into this store. At first, you think this place is legit and authentic, Turkish goods. Store owner (or whoever was there) starts talking about the rugs and how they're hand-made in turkey. Price:2,500, and then he says it's actually 2,100 and says it was an "honest mistake." Brother looks it up, 100 dollars. The guy started soffering food, and after I ate the Turkish delight, I didn't feel too good. Summary, don't fall for this scam.

Amazing hospitality! We drank, laughed and danced! It felt like we were in Turkey. They shared Turkish delight, coffee and apple tea with us. They were very kind to share their culture with us. It made our night. We purchased Turkish delight and apple tea.

I came to this shop last Wed (09/06/23) and purchased a $75 sterling silver evil eye bracelet; I completely regret making this purchase! As I was getting ready for work it completely broke into two pieces this Monday (09/11/23). It didn't even last a WHOLE WEEK. The cashier who helped me kept saying it was great quality and ensured me that it would last. I wouldn't recommend anyone here or purchase from them again. The worst part is that I don't live in CA and cannot make any returns :(

Everything is grossly overpriced and they will take advantage of you. I stupidly bought a rug for WAY more than it was worth and realized after I consulted my mother (who is from Turkey). Of course they would not refund me.Small lamps should not cost $150. They know that in America we do not understand what anything of those styles is worth.If a place has a no refund policy, there is usually a reason for it.Don't be a fool like me.

I ordered a beautiful piece of art, trusted that they would send it. It has been over 3 weeks and not delivered. I should not have trusted them. It was going to be my token remembrance of a wonderful weekend on the ocean for a burial at sea.

Please do not shop here, it was a horrible experience!!! I’m still having nightmares about it 3 days later!The shop clerk was very aggressive at pushing sales, and quoted absolutely ridiculous prices for everything in the store. It’s haggling based - but there’s haggling, then there’s outright robbery, and this shop clerk was the latter.I ended up with Turkish delight for an insanely high price, but luckily didn’t fall for the clerk’s ploy to sell rugs for over a thousand dollars (he ended up at $150, which was still an insane price).Find somewhere else to buy Turkish goods!!!

Absolutely love it here!!! Everything is such good quality!! My family and I stop here frequently and absolutely love it. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and kind, makes you feel right at home. Everything is clean, beautiful and stays in perfect shape once we bring it home. Such a unique store and a great addition to Balboa. Could not recommend more, you won't be dissapointed!!
