Terrible customer service! Instead of being welcomed as we walked in the door at 7:30pm last night (30 minutes before the store closed), we were told by a female employee that they were closing in 20 mins. While in the store, I was told 3 times during our 11 minutes of shopping that the store was closing and that she was going to shut down the register. We were the only ones in the store and well aware that she was ready to close the store yet wanted to make a purchase. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome from the moment we walked in the door. We were out the door well before closing (7:45pm) with our purchase in hand. I would recommend some additional training of your young employees!

the clothes here are cute but the girls who work here are not personable at all and just sit on their phone . not good customer service at all & just makes the customers feel so uncomfortable and not wanting to buy anything because of the service .

The employees have been rude every single time I come in here :/ like super quiet the whole entire time we were checking out and seemed annoyed when we had to give her clothes back to put away. Specifically, the long, dark haired girl in a red shirt. My roomie and I were shockedddd at the customer service. Such cute clothes tho!!

It was difficult to shop here . I was given major rude attitude. Was told that slacks couldn’t be bought alone . needed to be bought with the shirt . 1 way to purchase , as a set . The shirt was $45 and the pants were $45 so (OK SO DO I get both for $45 ? No ! Ok just give me the pants bc I’m not paying for a shirt I don’t want !!! Why they make up lies blindly bossing their own customer around ) . I felt unwelcome like I was bothering them . I really wanted to leave , it was like me being there was interrupting their night . One out of the two girls sat in complete and total defiance behind the register to where I was practically breathing on her bc the card reader so close , she didn’t budge : didn’t say anything at all . They had been chit chatting with rude tones and when I came up out the dressing room was crickets . not so much as an excuse me or hello , how are you . It was like getting bullied while shopping / terrible experience . Good luck with the place as sales move online and places like this go extinct .

The old rude lady at this store falsely accused my young daughter and her friend of shoplifting from the store. She insisted the 14 year old girls empty their bags in a restaurant next door completely embarrassing them and scaring them. Totally disgusting behavior a business owner.

girls that work here are really rude, and sold me the clothes I bought for more expensive than the tag stated AND online price stated. Their reasoning was because the system stated otherwise, my question is why the false advertisement on the tag and online?

the girls that work here and super unhelpful and rude (ignored me and looked me up and down when I entered the store and I said hello) and are on their phone / gossiping with their coworkers the entire time.

This was a really nice store. They had quality clothes at really reasonable prices. I got two of the softest t-shirts ever for 20 bucks. They had good touristy shirts and sweaters but they also had some really nice fashion items like sundresses and trendy shorts and some beautiful sweaters and coats and shirts.

Terrible experience with gals that work there. Every single time is the same and I keep just walking out of the store. Cute clothes but the staff needs to train the gals to be more polite and helpful when looking for an item. I'm a local and always buying clothing on Main. Sorry but this last time with all the respect had to tell the girl that works there that if she was actually doing her job I would buy a cute dress and she resounded with attitude. Therefore not visiting that store anymore.

Worse quality than shein and way over priced. Rude and un welcoming the moment you come on. Quick to judge. I live on the island near the fire station and have passed this store many times wanting to try it out, finally did and was highly disappointed

I got a super cute pink top from Isabelle's Cabinet as a gift. This has been one of my #1 favorite places to shop for a while and have gotten so many cute things here. Been supporting this business since the very start of the first shop on Balboa, However, the first time I ever put this pink top on it broke. I had been wearing for maximum of 10 sec and it broke. I took it into one of the Isabelle's on the island and they refused to give me store credit or anything at all. Nothing like getting a $50 top thats adorable for your birthday and not being able to wear it ever. Won't support this business again for a very long time. Customer service is absolutely terrible.

Went into Isabelle's Cabinet 3 times today! The first time was to try on a cute sale dress and the other two were to look for my lost car keys. The employee, Farrah so helpful all three times. She helped me look for them and searched the store with me. The clothes are also incredibly cute! Strongly recommend checking out Isabelle's Closet next time you're in Newport. Hopefully you're lucky enough to have someone as kind as Farrah there.
