George was awesome and very helpful. He was honest with me about my design ideas when it would negatively affect the stability of the stone and the ring came out exactly as I imagined! I love the simplicity of it and will for sure go back to him for any future jewelry needs.

I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my vintage Art Deco era engagement ring, featuring a stunning over 100-year-old old 3.18ct mine cut diamond, to George Necula - Jewelery Design and Repair. Unfortunately, the jeweler my fiancée and I purchased the ring from made unauthorized changes to the prongs and basket during sizing. They cut down everything and made them thinner, and said they did this for "aesthetic reasons." The new prongs were thin, not touching the diamond securely, and just overall done poorly. George went above and beyond to restore its design and structural integrity so I didn't have to worry about losing the stone. I included some before pictures below. I was anxious about preserving the ring's unique charm. George's craftsmanship is nothing short of exceptional. The "after" pictures show meticulous care and precision in his work. The prongs are not only secure but also seamlessly blend with the vintage aesthetic of the ring. George's attention to detail is evident, and he clearly understands the significance of preserving the authenticity of a piece with historical value. Geaorge was great. I had been looking for someone to repair my watch and found Geaorge. He did a great job and finished it ahead of time. I also needed my wedding ring repaired . It was in poor shape and now it looks like new and it is 50 years old. He does a great job and is a delight to work with.

Amazing Jeweler!! My wife's diamond fell out of her ring at our son's baseball tournament. Miraculously, I was able to find the diamond on the ground by the snack bar. We brought the ring to George to repair and reset the diamond. He also resized/soldered her engagement ring and wedding band together. The rings looks better than they did when I bought them 16 years ago. George is very personable, honest and trustworthy. I would recommend him to anyone looking for great craftsmanship. George melted some of my mother’s gold to make custom wedding rings for my adult sons, one brushed white gold and one yellow gold. It was a very sentimental project and I am beyond happy with the outcome. His old school custom craftsmanship is impressive. Besides the handsome aesthetics, the rings feel substantial and comfortable. Thank you George!

I had a small project which required a special piece of equipment which George had. I didn't think my modification was complicated however George was quick to explain how much my assumptions were incorrect. I don't think anyone else would have cared so much and to take the time to investigate and explain to me the intricacy of what was to take place. George is a true craftsman with decades of experience and dedication to his trade and can be trusted to carry out the most complex repairs.
