I was looking to sell one of my businesses and my normal accountant only does the basic tax filings and what I required was more complex. I gave Dave a call and explained my situation. He gave me some advice on the feasibility of what I was trying to accomplish and told me that for what I was looking for, I would be better off with another CPA. I appreciated the advice and honesty and will probably start moving my personal/business filings to Dave in the future

Been using Dave Tax for over 20 years and he runs a great office, is available when you have questions come up during the year, is like able and even mildly entertaining which is a plus when you're paying out taxes to the MAN

I've been through my share of professional tax people, with varying degrees of success. Often, I do all the compilation and all the work, and they throw the numbers into their software and out comes my bill. This is NOT the case with Dave Tax. Rarely have I met any professional so interested in taking superb care of his clients. From what I understand I am not the exception of feeling like I am the only client he has. Thank you, Dave and I HIGHLY recommend him and his services! It's WAY too hard to find a good tax ally, much less a great one!!

I had an unexpected problem this tax season and I wasn't sure what to do or if I even fully understood my situation. I sort of meandered into Dave's office one evening to hopefully get some questions answered. He ended up being so helpful that I just booked a follow up to sit down together and formally look over my documents. He was really helpful, knowledgeable, and just overall nice and calming. I highly recommend his services!

We've worked with Dave over a number of years on a few different tax planning strategies - this has included real estate, commodities, personal tax, and the design and execution of a 3 year strategic tax plan. He gives good advice, thinks of more than one way to accomplish goals, explains complicated tax rules and issues clearly, and is honest. He has done more than just taxes for me, he also has met with me during the year on major financial transactions and implications. He has referred me to excellent professionals for other needs, such as payroll. I have also referred friends to him and they have experienced what is described in other reviews here - he talks through their issues, identifies if he can or cannot help them and at what cost, and will provide advice even if they don't ultimately become clients. Frankly, I am a CPA but working with Dave has shown me how inadequate my own skills are for accomplishing my financial goals. I learn something new from Dave every time I see him and I would recommend him for his strategic advice, demeanor, and professionalism. Sherry, the office manager, is also an excellent asset to Dave. She is organized, pleasant, and efficient. She has an excellent eye for detail. It is rare that I ever hear people say that a tax guy has helped them accomplish their goals - bottom line, that is what drives me to recommend Dave Tax.

Dave is an absolute rock star! Not cheap but you get what you pay for, money well spent. As my taxes get more difficult I need someone to really be in my corner and Dave is that guy. This was my first year going to Dave but he has earned a life long customer. Highly recommended.
