i'm not sure about Power market as I'm seldom in CDM although my daughter and son both are working there. My son is a new home builder so he's on Coast Drive. My daughter at the senior center on Margarite street). but after reading Nadia's review, I wanted to comment. I have been in parking lots when women were begging for money ( Spanish speaking ladies) when God spoke to me and told me to go and give them what I had in my wallet. Both times, they were extremely thankful. I was happy to do this for i truly believe God wanted them to have the small amount of money i gave. So thank you Dave for listening and obeying what God put into your spirit to do. And Nadia it wasn't the universe that wanted to bless you, It was God.

VERY RUDE STAFF - AHMAD & EDWIN This review is not for Power Market as there's no market in this place. It's only a Chevron gas station, a mini store called H&S and an auto repair shop next to it. It was our first time going to this place with the intent to dine at the restaurant across this Chevron station - Bamboo Bistro. We found a handicap parking space so we parked with our parking placard displayed. My mother is an 80 year old who has vision and mobility limitations so parking in this spot is very convenient. We both went inside the restaurant only to find out that there's a waiting list. We signed up and decided to go back to our car to wait until we're called. We parked in that handicap spot for less than 5 mins. On our walk towards our car, this old man who works at the mini store with a name tag AHMAD, was yelling at a group of people saying that he will call a towing company to tow our car. He mistakenly thought the other people as the owner of our car. I told him it's our car and asked him nicely what is the problem. He was on top of his voice yelling at me and my senior mother saying that we can't park in that spot as it is a private property. He wasn't very nice at all. He was verbally harassing us. Another guy came out from the auto repair shop and his name is EDWIN. I explained to both of them that we didn't know the rule and it was our first time in the area. I told both of them that as far as I understand, you can't be denied a parking space especially if you have the handicap parking placard displayed. These two men weren't listening to my explanation and continued to yell at us to the extent that everyone was looking at us. I told them that I would prefer to call a sheriff to verify the policy they were telling me, which created more anger on their end. I told them that they could speak with us in a nice way without the need to verbally harass us. They can explain the parking policy without the need of yelling at us. They're both disrespectful especially to my mother who's way senior to them. On a side note, I didn't find any parking signage in front of parking spot that it is a private property. If I've seen that sign or if I knew about this parking policy, I would not even park there. Again, to anyone reading this review and come across with these two men named AHMAD and EDWIN, please know that they're VERY RUDE. Very disrespectful to women and to seniors! I wish the manager or owner of this business would see this review and would love to speak with him/her about this incident.

Since I returned to this region of CA, I have depended on D ave and his crew at Corona del Mar/Chevron on PCH to tend to my old BMW. They are easy to deal with, explain to those of us auto challenged just what our vehicles need. andIn the past, they have checked out a few things I worried about without charging me. Very unusual to trust a mechanic especially if you're my gender-female - with my hair color-, white though I prefer to call it silver. Thanks Dave, glad I can depend on you & the guys. Marla

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. Not only do I get my gas here but I also put the complete care of my Mini Cooler Clubman 2008 in the wonderful hands of Dave and his team. I have had everything from engine warnings to surface repairs done and addressed here and I have always left feeling confident in the job that they do and empowered with the knowledge that they shared with me about my car. Their approach to auto care is based on facts and a high level of customer service. Thank you for everything you do Chevron Team!!!

Huge thanks to the repair shop guys. It was a Saturday and our family was heading to Disney on Monday. We had a flat (nail in tire) and they repaired it for me in 30min. Amazing!

So just for transparency purposes I am using a friends Yelp account as I am a regular at this establishment but after what I saw recently I am concerned about retribution for leaving this review. I am a regular at this Chevron, I come for any minor auto work I need to have done whether that's an oil change or to have a battery replaced and I have been for quite some time. As I was inside the Market, an older gentleman by the name of Dave came inside to speak with the lady at the register. I'm not sure if there was a conversation between them prior or what happened, but Dave began to verbally assault the cashier with a whole host of slanders and insults aimed at the poor cashier. All she kept saying back was please do not talk to me like that but he just kept degrading her!! To be honest I was in shock watching this and the simple fact that he knew customers were in the store and still talked to her like that makes me think of the horrible things she may endure when nobody is around. This type of behavior comes from the top down, if it's allowed or not enforced this is the result. Do better Chevron! You letting bigots work for your company is a direct representation of the company as a whole and I would fully expect at the very least for you to open an investigation into this man Dave and to handle the situation accordingly.

Dave is AMAZING! This is the most honest shop I have ever been to!We had a belt problem and they could have EASILY charged us more money but instead they just adjusted the belt for us and charged us just for that labor. We also got our van smogged here and they were quick and fairly priced. They always have a great attitudeWe will be going here from now on.

First time I've been racially profiled at a gas station, being accused of attempted credit card theft is ridiculous

I was riding my bike through the area super early in the morning getting ready to head over the Newport Coast climb and noticed my chain was really squeaky on my road bike. So I pulled in here because I saw the garage door open and the nice man let me squirt my chain with some WD-40. Basically saved my entire ride. Super nice!

Good gas station. It's pretty small inside, but it has a restroom and the typical snacks and drinks.

My wife's car battery died. So we went to o'reilllys and got a new battery and I put it in the car.The next day, the check engine light was on. I assumed it was because everything just reset but had to know... so I called my man Dave at the local Chevron station. Really cool guy. Always helps us out. Like really helps us out. I've had so many times when I had to swap tires or something and he's just on it, always super friendly and always finding the best option.Anyway I go in there and tell him hey the check light is on can you tell me what's going on, so he pulls out his little computer, plugs it into the port, and 3 1/2 seconds later he says "there aren't any codes on, it was just a temporary thing everything's fine."So I'm like cool. And he said yeah, that'll be $179.I smiled at him. I'm like "really?" he smiled back and said I'm just *ing with you. Go home.Love my man Dave at chevron on pch in corona Del Mar. if you ever need anything done he's the guy.
