We stopped into Buck Mason in Fashion Island, being only vaguely familiar with the brand. Two hours and a substantial purchase later, I have to applaud this store and staff for creating an unparalleled shopping experience.
It’s not often the staff of a retail store encapsulate the vibe of a brand; after meeting this crew, I’m confident this staff does exactly that. Warm, engaging, friendly without being contrived or saccharine, and each equally gorgeous and stylish, putting their own spin on the brand’s style in an aspirational way.
We worked mainly with Erik, the store manager. Erik was truly delightful; he met and read my husband’s fashion reticence and gave him ample space to try things on comfortably and without pressure, while always ready to grab a different size or recommend a different fit. Erik knew every detail about material, sizing, and fit and very quickly understood what we were interested in and looking for.
The culture of the store felt mature but cool, and they treated my teenage daughter with the same respect and warmth as they did me, the middle-aged mom.
We come to Newport Beach every year and a stop into the store will become tradition (until we get one in Salt Lake City… please!) I applaud the entire staff for cultivating such a happy memory for my family.

Racist!!!!! I came here on a Saturday with my husband. It was crowded I went to the dressing room. The SALS GUY giving everyone water but NOT my husband bc we are the only ASIAN people in the store. I had several clothes trying and he NEVER asked if the size or anything. But he came to the white guy in the next dressing room every 3mins! Seriously. He is being so so so rude and the way speaking to me is like I own him money or sth. He has black hair and big eyes. I shopped at fashion island very often and I never experienced sth like this. I like several clothes I was trying but when I came out of the dressing room my husband said they were racist and rude so I left the clothes on the sofa and left. Trust me I rarely post any reviews but I just never met a person like this! You are losing business if u keep hiring people like this!

I first discovered this clothing brand through Nordstrom down in San Diego. When I researched that there's a store not far from where I live in Orange County, I had to stop by to see what they have in person. Buck mason store is really nicely designed and has a cool Porsche parked right in the front. That's a huge plus for me since I'm a huge Porsche collector. As I was looking at the clothes, a kind gentleman offered to help me. I forgot his name but he was very helpful and brought me many items that I had no idea that they had, but I ended up purchasing. The quality of the clothing is amazing and it's by far the most comfortable clothes I have. I will be back for more!

I love Buck Mason T-shirts. I had to stop by when I was in town. I was in a small rush. The guy that worked there was very helpful and picked some shirts out for me.His suggestion with the cut was best. I've been looking for 100% cotton tees to upgrade from the polyester stuff I've been wearing for years. I came across Buck Mason and a few other brands on Google, but stumbled upon the store at fashion island while shopping for other items. Recognizing the brand from online, I went into the store and came out with six new tees. The customer service from Will T. was incredible as he helped me will all of the different fits and material types in addition to offering me a cold Topo Chico to help with the hard work of trying on clothes. It took a while to dial in my fit since I'm a thin 6'4 with a long torso but Will stuck with me the whole way. Overall amazing experience.
