I recently had a complex situation involving an internal investigation with BMO, and I am incredibly grateful for the assistance provided by Terry Chang. From the very beginning, Terry was exceptionally helpful, guiding me through every step with patience and expertise.
Initially, my frustration with the situation had me considering closing my account. However, Terry suggested that I explore the Alto BMO program, which offers a higher APY and is very competitive compared to other banks I had looked into. His suggestion not only demonstrated his deep knowledge of BMO's products but also showed his commitment to finding the best solution for my needs.
Terry's exceptional service along with humor turned a potentially negative experience into a positive one. I highly recommend Terry Chang for his outstanding customer service and dedication to helping clients. Thank you, Terry, for your invaluable assistance!

BMO has a 60-day lock period before their loans expired. Michael Kopernik (NMLS# 86135) took about 38-days to close the loan, which is longer than I expected. In addition to a long loan closing, there was several errors that continued to come up that could have easily been prevented had Michael or someone on the team had been detailed oriented. For example, a few days before closing, there were errors on my loan closing document that required new version to be created. On the actual day of closing, a few hours before I had to sign the documents, I found new errors on my documents. In turn, this made closing extremely stressful. Michael and his team also had to contact my employer a few times to verify my employment. My employer took the necessary steps to complete the employment verification awhile back, but Michael and his team continued to contact my employer and I, requesting the same documents/verifications to verify my employment. I had to stop my work day to speak to my HR to explain why my lender was continuing to ask to verify my employment, although they've already successfully done it before. Moreover, I was refinancing my loan, so I had to work with Michael to pay off my construction loan, and the company of the construction loan, on the day of closing, was getting confused why they were being contacted several times and being asked for the payoff amount; they told me four different people called asking for the same information. They had to call me to get everything situated. I had to stop my work day to figure out what the issue was. I will not be working with Michal in the future, and I definitely will not be recommending him to others.

Opened up a CD with them, when I closed it after the CD matured they failed to transfer the $26K balance to my checking. Have spent 4+ hours on the phone with their customer service trying to get my money credited, they customer service is horrible and never will transfer you to a manager. The reps say they can't do anything else to assist but can't or won't escalate. Stay far away from BMO, they are a joke.

They have the worst customer service. Since they have become BMO bank they do not offer many banking services that most banks offer. They have really caused a problem for me and my banking Plus they do not care

IF YOU EVER DO ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE RIGHT, DO NOT BANK WITH BANK OF THE WEST. PLEASE. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. I just got off the phone with the branch manager (KAREN BURRIS) at this location who explained to me you are only allowed one reversal overdraft fee per year. HOWEVER, if you use Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, etc. this bank just uses its own authority to overlook that and still charge you an overdraft fee. So let's say you make an instant transaction...you receive xxx amount of money, you purchase something like a cup of coffee... They will literally say that the money wasn't available yet and you have to pay a fee of 35 dollars PER CHARGE. It is laughable at best. I wouldn't refer this BANK to my worst enemy. And I'm serious. Every other branch of bank DOES NOT do this. Please save your time and go to a bank that will treat you right. Karen Burris and every person I talked to along the way with this bank was extremely rude, non helpful, and cold. GO SOMEWHERE BETTER!!!!!!

I am involved in a real estate transaction with this bank and they have proven themselves to be completely incompetent. They basically sat on their hands for over a month waiting a records from an office that was closed with no ETA of opening. Even with multiple parties reaching out constantly, they refused to do any kind of due diligence to find out what was causing the delays. Lots of excuses with no customer service. They finally have the info they were waiting for, and still cannot get off their hands to push this transaction forward. Considering they messed up, they need to push this deal to the front of the line to get it done. Multiple 1031's are at stake here and they simply couldn't care less.

Bank parking is shared w building, limited to first 15 mins for free. ATM is inside and outside of building. Closed on weekends and I think No access to parking on weekends either (will verify later). Service is poor (not friendly) compared to other branches closer to my home.

This is a horrible branch. The manager is rude and so is the operation manager.. They are very unhelpful rude and will close my account because of these to worker.

The tellers are very nice. The manager and the operations manager are rude and clueless.. They have no idea how to treat customers.. I will never return to this brunch again.. I will end up closing my account because of these 2 young ladies..
