My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this luxury waterfront hotel. Our room had beautiful bay views, and we enjoyed a glass of wine while we watched the sunset from our private balcony. I also can’t recommend A+O Restaurant & Bar enough. We popped down for dinner, and everything was delicious, from the drinks to desserts. Next time, we’d love to stay at Balboa Bay Resort and stay exclusively in the Newport Beach area to explore!

A group of us (20) people stayed in the resort. Probably spent over 40,000 dollars. But when trying to have breakfast on Sunday we were told the whole restaurant is booked by outsiders mostly. First was told we can eat at the bar then we were told can not have breakfast in the bar because of my son not being 21. I think it was not nice at all.

Had a great stay at the Balboa Beach Club. Great room with a nice view of the Bay. The service was great and the restaurant and staff were very nice. A relaxing adult type hotel with two nice pools and a small layout/beach area on the Bay. Take a boat ride around Balboa Bay and see some of the amazing homes. The location isn't very walkable but stores and shops are close. I had a nice time.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Balboa Bay Resort, and it was an experience I'll never forget. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel's charming French Riviera vibe. The elegant architecture and lush gardens made me feel like I was in a fairy tale.But what truly made my stay special was the staff. They were so warm and welcoming, always ready to go the extra mile to ensure I had a memorable stay. I even received personalized recommendations for local attractions, which made my time in Newport Beach even more enjoyable.The waterfront location provided stunning views of the lagoon, creating a serene setting that was perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring.Overall, my stay at Balboa Bay Resort was nothing short of magical. It's the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing retreat. I can't wait to return and create more unforgettable memories

Stayed here for a staycation with my golden retriever to try out their pampered pooch package! They had great amenities for pets including a “VIP” photo op where they can walk a little red carpet, dog menu, welcome bag with some goodies, and cooling mat. We had the Bay View King room and it was huge! So much space which is also a plus with a high energy dog. The best part was the patio where my dog loved watching the boats go by. They were out of the bandanas and only had a really small bow tie that doesn’t work for larger dogs and out of the peanut butter treats on the dog menu but other than that everything was amazing and my dog had a great stay!All of the staff were so incredibly nice and helpful! The concierge recommended dog friendly walking paths for us. I just told her the distance we were looking for and she matched us with the perfect route that had a view overlooking all of Newport.Perks for humans, they have a welcome glass of wine in the lobby when you check in and a welcome bottle of wine. They even had surprise macaroons waiting for me. The bathroom was amazing, a huge soaking tub and shower and large vanity. Room service was super quick and also loved their coffee shop, blend! The property even has a spa and Drybar, pool and jacuzzi, and gym.Definitely would recommend and stay here again!

We were waken up early in the morning around 6:30 AM as the effect of soundproofing is very poor so you cannot expect a good long sleep here when you want to have a relaxed vacation!
