I'm a grandmother and went in to get a fishing license. The two young men in the store were very helpful, got the license for me quickly, and gave me great information about where and when to fish.

Has almost all the saltwater gear required for boat, surf, and pier fishing. They even have kayaks and are highly knowledgeable.

First time here and nothing but a great experience. I didn't get the young mans name but he was extremely helpful . Told him I was going after spotted bay bass and gave me some tips . I highly recommend this place for your tackle and any fishing needs you may have .

Anglers Center has always been a great tackle shop. Komron and Jeff really know their stuff! This is by far the best tackle store in Newport. I recently purchased a Hobie Kayak for local fishing and I am very pleased. Thank you guys for all that you do.

Angler Center has a great group of young professionals that are helpful and have excellent local knowledge in preparing you for getting the job done Clear attention to detail allows you to be that 20% of the anglers that catch 80% of the fish Spooling up braid on a reel can be tricky if it is not done right tension the line can bury in the spool and break off I've seen it happen more than once to adjacent anglers these guys know how to do it right
