Fair warning: these losers screwed up the last prescription they will ever get from me. After going through a surgical procedure, I was prescribed to take a 3-week antibiotic regimen by my surgeon. These incompetent pharmacists shorted my prescription to two weeks. I hadn't really noticed until I got a UTI as a result of not taking the prescribed duration of antibiotics, which my doctor had to prescribe an additional two courses of antibiotics to deal with the aftermath. After confronting the pharmacist about it, I received denial and obfuscation until I threatened to contact the CA Board of Pharmacy to get to the bottom of the issue. I only then got a confession that they had indeed shorted my prescription (apparently they video the counting of every prescription filled). The apology was accepted in that I decided not to sue them for the resulting problem, but I will never again be using this joke of a pharmacy, and I feel strongly that the public should be warned: you might have "complications" from using this pharmacy. I dare Rite Aid to bring a slander lawsuit. That's all it would take for me to not let bygones be bygones and countersue for what they put me through. Three weeks of high fever and misery. Thanks a lot you losers.

As always Rite Aid in Newman, CA never disapoints, the pharmacists are extremely helpfull. The store selection on holiday items is excellent for a small town.

Man I love all the girls in this store they are sweet and friendly this is for the pharmacy and I've never had an issue with them until tonight they've always been super accommodating about filling prescriptions helpful finding over the counter drugs etc but today this rude little new girl in the pharmacy was extremely rude and uneducated so I had to leave a review.... This is how it went I asked if I had a prescription refill left because I have been in some discomfort lately she asked me for my birthdate and my name then pulled up the prescription then she told me they were closing in 45 minutes and that they're too busy and she wouldn't have time to fill it so Then I asked if she knew where the Abreva is she said no I don't I'm sorry and no I can't refill it today ya were really busy So I asked if I can speak to the pharmacist and he kindly said that it would be no problem filling my prescription today and he also directed me to get my daughters cold sore medicine. Hopefully that an educated pharmacist technician won't be working there very much longer.

I went to the Newman store in search of firepits a friend of mine told me about as soon as I got to the store I was greeted by Terry I told her what I was looking for and she took me directly to them they were 75% off so I purchased the last two and she assisted me to my car with my purchase the great service she provided put a smile on my face.

There was a very rude Karen there and when my parents needed help she said how ridiculous of a person and then when I told her some chocolates were buy one get one free she said yeah yeah whatever then she rolled her eyes at me and she gave us the side eye and that's why I am giving a 1 star review if I could I would give 0

If I had the option to pick no stars I definitely would ! I called pharmacy and the man that answered is extremely rude ! Definitely will be talking to store management.
