My family and I had a wonderful stay! Mac at the office was very friendly while checking in and out. The rooms were so cute and overall we just felt really comfortable and welcomed here 10/10 would recommend

I've stayed at this motel several times and it's the cleanest in the area. The manager, Mac, does a great job. While the furniture is a bit worn, the rooms have been nicely updated. They also have a laundry facility and a vending machine. The Wi-Fi is free and fast, and they provide daily room service, which is a nice touch. I haven't encountered any of the "sketchy people" mentioned in other reviews. Parking is one vehicle per room, which works for me, but could be an issue if you have a trailer. Overall, this is the best motel I've found in the area.
Walkability: Very close to Newhall restaurants and bars.

I came here to visit a friend who was visiting from out of town so it was a very good stay here .....update today i went to recycle next door and was depressed knowing that I am worth so much and yet still could not even afford to get a room here even if i wanted to and that really sux big time frustrating ....
Nearby activities: the nearby activities are the recycle center, the newhall library and downtown newhall with all its stores and such....also close to the newhall metro link station and the laemmle theater and the masters college....
Safety: seemed safe enough to me unless you are not safe...
Food & drinks: there are a few vending machines and the easy stop liquor store is a few blocks ..

Definitely the nicest motel I’ve stayed at. Was in town for a friend’s wedding and picked this motel to make sure we had somewhere to park our rental car. Staff was helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Laundry was available and staff helped make change.
Rooms: Bed was super comfortable. Seemed to be recently renovated. Clean.

Great and affordable ‘motel’ just up the road from DT Newhall. $8 rideshare. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Mattress and pillows comfortable.
Only minor neg, was our room, on 2nd flr, pointed north and there was a lot of road noise at night. Audible in the room, but I’m a light sleeper.

It's a motel. It's a warm bed, the rooms are clean, there's no bedbugs, the room service is good. The internet is pretty bad and the parking is REALLY limited, but if all you need is a place to sleep, it's perfectly fine. There's complimentary coffee in the morning at the office.

My partner and i stayed at the hotel for 5 days and the reception and service we received was amazing, rooms are a great size for two family friendly and reception provide morning coffee to 10.30am.
Cleaners are fantastic and polite, hotel has a laundry service at reasonable prices. Thank you santa clarita motel staff I will be back soon

Nous devions y passer 1 nuit, nous avons choisi d'y revenir pour une 2e nuit tellement ce motel nous plaisait. Style motel américain avec chambres accessibles depuis l'extérieur d'y bâtiment, chambres propres et confortables.
Proche de la route donc assez bruyant. Des épiceries et bars accessibles à pied si besoin (<1km).
Un très bon moment passé la bas.

You can easily get there by car, but the number of parking spaces they have is a bit fair. The service is correct without being friendly. The room was very small and I found a lock of hair on the pillow! Luckily there were more pillows. To go to dinner you have to take the car.

The check- in was easy & accommodating. The two receptionists were friendly and welcoming, a pleasant experience. Our room was modestly furnished, but nicely renovated, clean & well organized. Affordable: Very grateful for the price AAA Membership gave us --- one night stay/two queen beds for total of $100!
The only thing missing for us was a coffee maker inside our room.
My only complaint was the noise from the traffic on the main road. We traveled during the work week so I understand how the noise is greater at this time.
All in all, we had a pleasant stay and will choose this motel again!

Safety: First time traveling to & staying overnight in Santa Clarita. Very impressed with the cleanliness & the hospitality of the city, and of the Santa Clarita Motel. We felt safe throughout our stay.
Noteworthy details: I'm repeating myself but I can't help it. Our lives are busy these days and as we drove towards the city of Santa Clarita, from the noisy freeways in L.A. traffic and the busi~ness of the city, it felt like a breath of fresh air. We drove down into a nice valley into a lush & green environment, small, quaint hometown feel, clean, both historical and modern venues, hospitable community.
