Poor customer service, twice now. Used to love this place. All the television shows we grew up on used to use their paint. We also wanted to support local businesses. Today, the young man was on the phone helping someone, I went to the counter for help. No greeting and looked like I was an inconvenience. Maybe because I am a woman and not a painter? I knew what I wanted and he seemed happier once he realized it was a quick sale. Will go some place else for Ben Moore paint. A few months ago, I needed to match exterior paint for our house. Got paint chips as requested only to be told the paint chips were too small. Sigh, communication could be better. Overall, both times I felt that I would have had a better experience had I been a contractor, rather than a new homeowner looking for minimal help, which isn't appropriate.

The people there know what they're talking about and it was easy enough to get what I needed. They're Benjamin Moore products were exactly what I was looking for because I was looking for quality.

Very disappointing for a small mom & pop type establishment, which whenever possible I try to support. This is my second time in here and both times have been exactly the same. No greeting, not helpful at all, downright disinterested in the fact that you are even there. Rude when you ask a question. This last time the kid behind the counter was more interested in his cell phone than giving any amount of customer service. The only reason I've gone in there is because I needed some Benjamin Moore paint and it was closer to where I was. I will definitely not shop here again. I'll make the drive to the other Santa Clarita paint store that carries Benjamin Moore. They at least know what customer service is!

I'll give the staff a big thumbs up and they were helpful. I needed a quart of paint for some touch up on my trim. Had the original color from the manufacturer of the home and took it in. First off the paint, which wasn't available in quarts or gallons. Construction grade needed to be a bulk order. Said they had something close terrific. Might not match exactly. I understand that and for what i needed close counts. 26.00 for a quart of paint WTF they already started to mix it so i bought it. Just finished and the color is spot on but it's the sheen. This stuff looks like almost a flat. Not happy with the results or the price.

Do you know how hard it is to find lye???? I need to cover the smell of a dead body and I need some asap......... lol .......... just kidding. Making homemade soap and Lye is very hard to find, most stores do not carry it due to the fact that it can be used for other purposes :0. Anywho, they had it and it was priced right so 5 stars for them.

Cute little paint shop in Old Town Newhall that still believes in great customer service. After going to several big chain stores that didn't have my color and said they couldn't match it, the man at this store said he would match it first with his computer then fine tune it with his " eyes!" GreAt job many thanks!

Our Girl Scout troop is working towards their Silver Award by painting a mural at a local elementary school. We asked Newhall Paint if they could donate supplies, and they we very generous. They gave us at least 1/2 of the supplies we needed! They we so nice and supportive of our girls and our local community. Thank you Newhall Paint!

I have to give this place 5 stars for their customer service. Customer service is hard to come by now a days. I've been in this store several times. They have always helped in matching colors to what I need. I buy all my paint here and will continue to do so.

I have been supplied the top quality paints and stains from Newhall Paint since 1994. When it comes to special paints, sealers, stains they have it. If you need to do a special faux finish or match a certain color this is the place to go.
