He is truly the best doctor! I should know worked for a doctor for 15 years he was amazing as well! Dr Jenkins spends his time getting to know his patients was a little upset he wouldn't give me my migraine meds! I have to have my migraine meds on me at all times but he refused to give them to me!

Dr. Jenkins and his staff are the best! I’ve been seeing Dr. Jenkins for years now and I won’t go see anyone else. I highly recommend him to my family and friends!

My wife and I chose to come to this doctor primarily because there WAS and option to visit as an urgent care as advertised on their website. Overall Jenkins is a good GP but the front admin is SO RUDE. Honestly, they need to take a class on people skills because they have none.Early this morning my wife was having heart tension and pain so we drove clear across town just to get to the office. Upon walking in we explain that we wanted to see the doctor but had no appointment. We saw on the website that there is no need for an appointment. The admin gave us the office admin equivalent of "go pound sand." We asked for recommendations for places to go, but said go to an "urgent care." Nothing elseDespite having it listed on their website AS AN URGENT CARE. We were turned away.web.archive.org/web/2023…(This is an archived website snapshot as of today)I can understand changes in policy, but at least uphold your advertised services until you've removed them from your site.

I haven't had a primary care doctor for several years. Due to recent health issues, I decided to consult with Dr. Jenkins because I needed lab testing referral. While I was in the office, Dr. Jenkins spent the majority of the time discussing his travel experience with me. One of the office assistants attempted to draw blood from me. But she failed miserably and then admitted that she didn't have phlebotomy certification or formal training. A week later, I kept calling the office requesting to speak with the doctor because the symptoms were still bothering me. I waited another week and still did not get a call back from the doctor. One of the office assistants read the lab test results to me over the phone. I believe that Dr. Jenkins doesn't care about the well-being of his patients. I am so disappointed and frustrated because I am still dealing with medical issues. I never got diagnosed, I did not get a prescription to alleviate the symptoms, nor did the doctor follow up with me regarding next steps.

Doctor jenkins has been our family doctor for along time. He has taken care of me and my parents and siblings. He really cares for e everyone and spends time with you to figure out what is best for your treatment. He is truly one of the best doctors i have ever encountered.

Definitely not a fan. Went there a few times after my prior doctor retired. During most of my appointments, Dr. Jenkins was never prepared, and I always had to explain my prior medical history and why I was there. I had medical tests done and he didn't have the results with him and had to go find them. The kicker was that he asked why I went to see a specialist at the City of Hope *he* recommended !!! He's in his mid-70's. I'm now at UCLA (also in the Santa Clarita Valley) and am very happy.

Spent a while looking for a new doctor since my last clinic closed down, "The Doctor's Office". I was just told that this particular office is not accepting any new patients at this time. Refused service over the phone. I've never been refused service by any doctor's office before. This happened shortly asking for cash patient rates. Checked the website and they clearly offer urgent care services for patients with my symptoms. However, I guess this person on the phone screened me out. Awesome. Thank you. Now I need to spend another hour finding something else.

What used to be a superb medical practice is no longer. My most recent experience was that his assistant did everything she could to not help me when I called to get help for my sick husband. Mind you this is a 75 year old man who has been a friend of the doctor's for over 20 years. I had to beg her to have the doctor talk to my husband on the phone. He isn't taking any new patients which is a good thing.

Wow. Just literally got hung up on by the receptionist who said he wasn't taking new patients even though I was a patient of his at his former practice. Just very odd interaction and unprofessional. This is American healthcare for you where they leave out the "care" part.

Dr Jenkins is great. He is always thorough and attentive to my needs. He answers all the questions I have and his staff is friendly. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a Dr.

I agree with many of the most current reviews of Dr. Jenkins. This past visit was atrocious. During my annual physical, I mentioned 3 areas of concern and problems that I was having. He stated that he would write me prescriptions to deal with them. Five minutes later when the "exam" was over he said good bye and he would see me next year, my 3 concerns completely ignored or forgotten. Neither of which are okay. I completely agree with Jennifer S's review (8/24/2021) that he is not all there. That was bad enough but 2 months later I get a bill from them for $300+ and a second bill from Quest diagnostics for almost $900! For a routine physical! It is now more than 6 month later and I have contacted Dr. Jenkins office more than 5 times telling them that they need to straighten out the insurance mistake, they refuse and were incredibly RUDE. I will never go back and wouldn't send my worst enemy to this horrid "doctor's" office. Stay away.

I hate leaving poor reviews but this place has so many good ones that I think it can be misleading. I'll start by saying Dr. Jenkins does seem like a kind, fun person but he doesn't seem to be quite all there anymore for medical care. When my husband went to seek treatment & information on a medical issue he's had, Dr Jenkins asked "so what do you want to do?" regarding his treatment. My husband was taken aback by the blunt & dismissive words. He had come to the doctor, an expert in medicine, for medical advice. So no real care was actually received. He was generally offhand with his comments, overly casual for having just met us, and seemed distracted & confused. The staff in the front office were arguing and gossiping loudly which we could hear while we were waiting in the lobby. Further, this same staff mixed up our bloodwork. We only realized it when they called to say his estrogen was too high We both went for initial an initial appointment there with high hopes of finally finding a good primary care physician based on all of the positive reviews but they didn't end up being true in our case.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been dealing with Dr. Jenkin's billing dept since Jan. 2021 when they decided to send me a bill for a covid test I had gotten done on 8/26/2020. I called the office and asked why it was not submitted to my insurance and they stated that my name, birthday and insurance number was incorrect. HOW?! I have no idea because when I came in office they made copies of my ID and insurance card. They told me to disregard the bill and they will submit it to insurance. Fast forward to February, I received a bill AGAIN with the SAME issue. This time I decided to involve my insurance, Blue Cross, and they stated that there is no claim on file for the date of service they are trying to bill me for. I provided them the number to the billing dept and they called and provided ALL my CORRECT information AGAIN to their office to submit the claim. BUT AGAIN in March AND April they sent me a bill with the SAME issue. NO CLAIM ON FILE AND BC had to call their office to have them submit the claim with all the correct information. AND here AGAIN in MAY, I received a bill with the same issue and of course I involved Blue Cross again and they stated NO CLAIM ON FILE and called the office but the office provided them a claim number that was for a DIFFERENT patient. This is so ridiculous and what's funny is I work for a billing dept so I know exactly how submitting a claim works. This office is clearly trying to SCAM me. Dr. Jenkin's as great as you are because my doctors and administrator can vouch for you because you both refer patients to each other BUT get a better billing dept. There's no way in hell I will let your office scam me especially when the job isn't getting done correctly. 5 months of this nonsense and it's getting old and I'm ready to take further action.
