“Small park area but it was just enough. My son had a basketball game here. Everything was clean, updated and modern design, like many of the parks in SCV. Staff were approachable. Vending machines available.”

“Under different leadership for this past year, this place has been steadily improving. We meet there as a club, not affiliated in any way with them. They have always been friendly. Their patio is really nice, and I understand they are working on improving the inside as well. Really reasonable drinks, good people.”

“I bring my kids at least twice a year for the Poverty Encounter tour. I don't necessarily travel to Haiti, Romania or Nepal, so this tour helps me show my kids that they have so many priviledges and how grateful they should be. I just love that at the Povery Encounter they can see how other kids live, and not just hear stories from mom when they complain and try to be picky about food. In general, this also encourages kids and adults to give their time to do volunteer work, give financially to the Children's Hunger Fund or other organizations that help kids who don't have access food or medical necessities.”

“I recently had my cat treated at this CAMP location. I drove 25+ miles to get here but I am so happy I did! My cat had surgery this day and they made drop off and pick up very easy. They took great care of my Jinx and he had healed nicely. There is plenty of parking in the front of the building and also a large lot in the back for overflow parking if needed. The building itself was beautiful and fits in with the historic sites in the City. While my cat was being treated, I was able to explore the area and the old Mission which is walking distant from the CAMP. I highly recommend taking your babies to this facility.”

“From the moment I walked in the door I was blown away by this facility. Yevette ran that place like a Union Made watch. Russ and Tony are true leaders and when you play with puppies all day how can you not be awesome. The puppies are cared for to level I've never seen and they are all adorable. The icing on the cake, is knowing all this is done to help people at no cost to the patient. I proudly donate to GDA TLC on a weekly basis to maximize my contribution. If you feel you need to give money to someone to help others this is truly the place you should put your money!”

“My son is very motivated by the therapist and horses, and has made rapid progress since he started a few months ago. Highly recommend for autistic kids who love animals. I was worried it would be hard to target fine motor on horseback, but he's up there putting tiny stickers on things from the saddle and has progressed rapidly with his skills. Very unique environment, and my kids adore the horses, barn, and people. We look forward to it all week! Shout out to Sara, who is an amazing OT provider.”

“Came here with my wife because she had just changed jobs and had a gap in insurance coverage when we found out she was pregnant. The folks here were super nice to us and really do not ask for anything in return. This is an incredible resource for the community. Yes, full disclosure, if you do some digging around you'll find that the organization seems to have some religious/pro-life affiliations. Not a problem in my book. In fact, I would argue this is exactly the kind of thing they should be doing. Highly recommended, especially if you have less support than ideal at home.”

“We love Weekday Preschool! Both of my kids went here for TK. My second child stayed at Weekday Preschool instead of going to public TK, and it was the best choice we have ever made. The playground is amazing—better than any public or private school in the area. The teachers are masters at handling any issues and preparing the children for kindergarten. When my older child went to elementary school, her teachers always asked where she went to preschool because her behavior and school skills were ahead of everyone else! I’m so thankful for Weekday!”

“My fiancée's grandmother lives at this community. As someone who works in senior living I'm able to hone in on what is most important, being, food, cleanliness, and offered socialization, which they all do very well according to her and her family. It's a big relief for me knowing she is safe, and I'm happy to see her family satisfied with the care. Thank you for all you do.”
