Hard to know where to begin. Steve Barsotti is a wealth of knowledge about all things Subaru. Not only is he a Subaru expert, but he is a great human and stand up guy. He gladly shared his knowledge with me while I was restoring my BRAT. He also did some of the work for me and his rates are reasonable. If you have a classic Subaru he is the guy. Expert friendly service and advice you can trust. What more could you ask for?

Steve has been taking care of our 27-year old Subaru since we moved to this area in 2001. He loves and knows all about Subaru cars, and has figured out and remedied the cause of several mysterious intermittent issues over the years. He is a blessing to us as we can completely trust him to help with our car. He is honest in assessment of necessary maintenance items and their cost. He takes time to explain about what may be going on and what has to be done, and has helped us keep our aging car running superbly well. This past week, the car needed some major work. As always, I was so grateful to be able to have him provide TLC to us and our car. I wanted to write a review as I have not done that for almost a decade, taking him for granted.

Steve is honest knowledgeable, timely and resonablypriced. A month after he repaired my outback, I got a message saying his wife audited the books and he over charged me $35, so he is sending a check. Never thought that's something a mechanic would say. :).Services: Transmission

Subaru Steve is the best mechanic for my 2002 Forester. The work was done in a timly manner and Steve is always happy to make sure my wife and I knew what was going on. Very knowledgeable about Subarus. If you have a Subaru this is the guy you want working on your car.

My mom and I have bought refurbished cars from Barsotti's and we love them!! Excellent mechanic, honest and speaks plain English so I understand what is going on with my car. Great pricing and truly a blessing to have as our mechanic.

Steve is everything you want in a mechanic. A complete Subaru subject expert, honest, expert mechanic, and extremely helpful. Honestly, some years back a friend who had a Subaru that was on its like 500K mile, told me when we got our Subaru that they used Steve. It was literally the best advice I ever got.

Best place in the to get any work done to your Subaru. I bought a 2004 with low miles to take long road trips and took it to Steve to get what needed rebuilt, serviced and repaired done. He did an excellent job and passed on alot of knowledge to a new Subaru owner like me.

100 stars! Steve is the man, I can't say enough good things about him. I feel like I need to have Subarus and live in Northern California forever just because he is that good. He knows everything there is to know about Subarus and their potential problems, he always gets back to me super quick with answers to any questions I have (there are a lot of them), and I always feel like he is being honest about necessity and cost. Buy a Subaru and go to Barsotti's. Thanks Steve!!
