My son rents a storage space, I pay the bill most of the time and every encounter I have had with these people has been so pleasant, they have a comfortable family like atmosphere. If I ever were to recommend or have my own storage it would be at Newcastle storage for sure.

Doesnt even deserve 1 star... I've been very patient working with the manager cheryl regarding a 8000th bird cage that was ruined due to a neglected sewage pipe above my storage unit. I was getting my belongings from the storage unit when I was splashed from above with sewage water and noticed that the 2 units next to mine were completely damaged from the broken sewage pipe above. Knowing that all of my belongs are most likely damaged all I care about is getting my parrot in his rightful home. I agreed on having them pay to have the cage sandblasted and redone. Now they claim 500$ is too much instead of paying 8000$ to have the cage replaced entirely. Then cheryl said to me "see you in court" so be it cheryl. I'm ready.

This place needs to be condemned. We were getting our stuff out of our storage unit when we heard a toilet flush above us and we got drenched in sewage water. We then noticed all our stuff was drenched in sewage, our $8000 bird cage was rusted, our $2500 bed had a foul sewage stench on it and water stains. All we wanted was our bird cage to be re-power coated because rust is extremely toxic to birds, and they said they would work with us. We got estimates, and told the awful woman the estimate is $500 and she cut us off screaming, refused, and hung up on us. Fine, we were only going to have you guys re power coat the cage, but If you're not willing to work with us, we will be taking this matter to court and you'll have to REPLACE everything in our unit. This is absolutely nasty. Don't EVER get a unit here. Their prices are cheap for a reason, they used to be alright but this is just nasty, just like Sharon's attitude.
