Do you like exploring antique stores? Do you like looking in nooks and crannies and shelves and exploring to see everything that is available for purchase? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you need to go visit Ingrid at the Merry Go Round. She owns this shop, and is a very polite, very knowledgeable owner, who has been known to be willing to discuss prices. I truly enjoy stopping by here and have purchased several items over the years. Do yourself a favor and stop by. She may have just what you are looking for.

Quaint antique store. Pretty crowded and hard to move around comfortably. Prices seemed a bit high on many items. Unfortunately they also did not open as posted, not actually sure when opened as we left around 10:30ish, but we did come back to check it out as it was our purpose to go antiquing for the day. Definitely a place to check out and see if they have what you are searching for!

Everything I visit my mum in Auburn we go to this shop. It’s exactly the type of thrift/antique place I love. 1) you need to twist your body into positions you haven’t done since your early 20’s to inspect stuff 2) the owner is badass 3) ya never know what you’ll find on the trip. 4) there are some great vintage books there you need to risk encountering daddy long legs to access.

I found Ingrid on letgo searching for some ornate vintage frames. Wonderful lady totally adore her and her shop. Great prices and the hospitality was spectacular! Its worth the trip to Newcastle.. you can check her out on letgo or other places she may have posted for certain items to get a sneak peak. Recommend!!
