In a world of convenience, Hunt continues to be behind the competition in availability to pay ones bills. The only options I have is to send a check in the mail or over the phone. There is no way to pay online.

They get two stars because their driver and their install guys were awesome. Super kind and knowledgeable.The other side of the story is their terrible scheduling and customer service.They refused to schedule fill times with us and said "nobody does that in this industry". Their poor driver would get sent out and be unable to fill since we have a gated property and we never knew when/if he was coming.The price isn't even close to the cheapest, and their customer service was terrible. whoever we speak to at the front desk was always so unnecessarily rude and not understanding in the slightest.We switched propane companies and now we are on a schedule, have cheaper propane, and get fantastic customer service. The funniest part about it, is we removed their tank and they couldn't even tell me when they would pick it up. They said it could be weeks.

I am not going based off of pricing or quality of techs. This rating is purely based of the dispatcher who provided the worst customer service. Called to get propane set up once we purchased a house in Foresthill (Right before the storm hit). I understand that they might have been busy so their schedule was obviously booked. However, she was very rude and willing to answer any questions or help in any way. Not sure how they are in business with an office staff that gives an attitude for no reason.

The new ownership is absolutely terrible. As we get low, we call them to schedule and they are rude, they won't give any time frame so we sit around afraid to use anything requiring gas and when we call a week later they say 5-7 days forcing us to go through another weekend without heat, showers, stove. They once charged us a $200 emergency rate and didn't even come out until the normal scheduled route! One of their drivers didn't stay on the road to run his line....instead, he ruined our lawn in the winter and got stuck and then called me to tell me he was stuck. Now I have huge truck tire divits all over my lawn and it's difficult to even walk out there and my kids trip all the time taking our trash out. The receptionist is incredibly rude and makes unnecessary comments. Some of us dont have the luxury to fill our tank all the way being a single parent of three kids and I find it very disheartening for them to be judgmental and rude when I ask them to please put in 100 gallons at a time because that's all I can afford. This company is awful and rude, expect no time frames and rude service.

I called To set up a new account. The lady said she would send the email to get everything set up once we were off the phone. 3 hours went by and no email. I called Back and they told me I’m not important right now that there existing customers come first. They have priority over new customers. I told them they should help the customer that already called in before helping other people I asked To speak to a supervisor cause the lady was rude and said they don’t have a supervisor. I hung Up and called back and now a supervisor works there. The supervisor called me names said I was rude when I’m being treated unfairly cause Im not a customer yet. I would Not use hunts propane I called Kamps Propane and they were able to help me right away

You need to respond to customers. Some of us are below 5% with no call back for weeks and we can't fill elsewhere since it's leased. Have some decency to at least give permission to fill elsewhere if you can't fulfill your responsibilities

My parents had been Legacy customers for years, and they were so good to my mom after my dad passed away and mom was on her own and would constantly turn off the fireplace by accident... I've now taken over the home and need to refill the tank. I was nervous about Hunt having taken over Legacy because of some of the negative comments I read regarding Hunt... however, it all turned out great, they called me back within 24 hrs of leaving my message, had someone out exactly when they said they would, and their price per gallon was a little less then the competition. There's always some kinks to iron out whenever there's a big change, and buying out Legacy was a big change, but give them a chance... they did right by me for sure.

So far so good. One on time fuel delivery at a reasonable price and hopefully holding to their word and renting and dropping me a tank in the time no others could even try to compete with. They will have a life time customer if they pull it off.

They WERE great until they became "Legacy-Hunt" propane. I was a customer for over 5 years. No longer. After 3 missed appointments (without any notices) to fill multiple tanks on my property and a plethora of useless phone calls, I'm moving to another company - don't waste your time. You can't easily get anyone on the phone, leave a vm or receive a single guaranteed delivery. Sad - this used to be a family owned business, I miss who they used to be.

This company went above and beyond to accommodate my family. From the manager that just happened to be working overtime that day to the delivery and installer guy. Thanks a million guys. SO MUCH BETTER THAN amerigas!!!!

I live in an RV and they came out and set a tank for me so I don't have to worry about running out of propane any more !!! Love it.

I had a tankless water heater installed in my home yesterday, an all day job. When the plumber tried to turn the gas back on, no gas came through the line. So, I called the after hours emergency line and talked to Jessie, who told me to sit tight and he would be there in 20 minutes. True to his word, he showed up with his whole family in tow and proceeded to disassemble the ball valve and regulator and diagnosed the problem. He was able to get the gas line to work again but advised that it was time to replace the regulator.Not one penny charged for his visit. What a great attitude, nice family, great service...you just don't see this anymore. I highly recommend this company. It doesn't get any better.
