“I always enjoy taking my extra items here. They receive them in the back and happily give a receipt. I think it's one of our local downtown thrift stores it's always fun to visit with her well arranged items!”
“I was visiting the area, and decided to indulge in some local thrifting. I am so glad I did. This was the nicest little store, very clean, very well organised, and lovely friendly volunteers. A volunteer was even cleaning shelves and cabinets while I was there - that is impressive. There was a nice range of quality clothing, and a separate section with glassware, kitchen ware and the like. No electronics or "crap". Prices were very reasonable, and I was happy to hear all proceeds benefited various community groups. As icing on the cake, I luckily timed my visit well, and scored some nice sweaters that had just that morning become the "$1 tag color". I will most definitely be coming in again when I am next in the area.”
“New location. The Assistance League Conejo Valley is now open in its new location and looking awesome with some really good merchandise. With almost 200 volunteers and always looking for more. Operation School Bell is one of their programs with many more helping our community. 2860E Thousand Oaks Blvd”

189 E High St, Moorpark“One of the great places to shop at are thrift stores. You always get great deals for low prices. Many thrift stores donate to charity for the poor and homeless. Some people dislike this place for two reasons. It's small & the prices. This place has been around for a long time. Moorpark isn't like Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, or Los Angeles. Moorpark is a small city. They're been slow to expand as far as I know. If you're a business owner, you take what you can get. It's a small store & the store employees put out as much as they can. Some people feel like it's claustrophobic, especially when it's busy. Now, when it comes to prices, I think they're fair. Places like these are mom's & pops shops. They try to make money from what they can, and they use it to pay the bills & donate to charity. But some people who shop try to lowball their way to an almost free sale. In other words, trying to make the seller, sell it lower than it's worth, so the buyer will pay less even though the price is cheaper than buying it at full retail price. I dislike those types of people and would never do business with them after I got burned a few times selling stuff myself. Never again! If you dislike the store, leave. But posting negative comments saying the prices are too high, go to eBay & Amazon where sellers tend to rip you off & inflame prices beyond reseasonable, even for used items, outdated or old. The employees are all friendly & kind. Not all the employees are the ones who price the items. I find the prices great. Like many thrift stores, they don't do price matching. Stop asking! I see it all the time. Many employees are retired & do this for free. They love helping their community. Probably the worst thing I see people do is steal. I hate stealing and hate people who steal from thrift stores. Especially, people who steal from Christian stores. These stores are trying to pay rent, & donate to charity, homeless, and so on. I love coming here when I can.”

530 E Los Angeles Ave, Simi Valley“Dropped off about 12 bags of my deceased Father's clothes Tuesday morning. The lady working the drop off section was nice and gave me a receipt. Didn't go inside but it served its purpose, so all ok with me.”
“I went for the first time and a bought a pair of jeans. Unfortunately when I got home I realized the zipper had broken. I was super bummed because they looked so good. I brought them back the next day. I got there ten minutes before they closed, but James was super helpful and fixed the zipper on the spot. I appreciate you and will definitely be back in the future.”

2400 W Hillcrest Dr, Thousand Oaks“The newer employee Josh is so sweet and polite; He went above and beyond to help me with my donations. I was struggling to lift heavy items and he came right over and helped without me asking. It's nice having a strong and helpful person around. What a great addition to this store! So refreshing to see customer service isn't dead.”

IMO overall it's a decent Goodwill.”

“Save A Life Thrift Store always has good music, good sales going on, great regular priced clothes, AC going during summer, a big warehouse and is a cool shop. I believe the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. Theres alot of people who believe in and like this shop”
“This place has supported me through two jobs with their cheap clothing. As much as I hate giving money to goodwill, this location always has some awesome button up men’s shirts, short sleeve and long sleeve. Some warnings, though: pants selection are never good, either too big or too small. Employee retention here is terrible, and usually consists of teenagers and the occasional older person. Anything that’s not shirts or pants is going to be dirty, ripped, and super old. Any thrift store is going to be a surprise when it comes to what they have in stock, and so is this one. I’ve seen brand new products from a grocery store being sold dirt cheap, whereas other days they put a price tag on broken junk.In all, if you’re familiar with thrift stores, this one is one of the worst. Stick to shirts and pants, and you’ll love what you find.”

2060 E Avenida De Los Arboles, Thousand Oaks“I stopped by as I had about 20 min before I was meeting a friend. It's a pretty small store, but I thought the selection of items was nice, and I thought the prices were fair on the items I looked at. I didn't find anything I wanted to buy, but I think I'll stop here again next time I'm in Thousand Oaks to see how their selection rotates. Place was clean and parking was easy.”

“GREAT GREAT STORE! Went in and found what I was looking for and things I wasn't looking for. Definitely will be going back. Overall customer service was amazing and they have great selection of name brand goods.”
“My experience at this special place was somewhere I had gone and discovered accidentally, which happened to be very therapeutic and away after losing my baby ginger best friend, the best years of my life so far most memorable. Stephanie was very comforting this difficult time I am trying. Aside from that. This place is so cute. There’s everything clothing, shoes, handbags, camping equipment, dishes, and everything else under the sun that you’re a heart desires reasonably price, and I guarantee you’ll leave this place with a smile, and a good feeling you got a bargain and made a new friend. Please, come visit this place. This place is so anyone’s alley with whatever you’re in just want to shop, you’ll pretty much find something that you’re gonna want.”
“This has been a favorite of mine for over 15 years! The money raised goes to the Nursing Home. I have donated many of my household goods, from furniture, artwork, and clothes. Love to shop there too! 2 of my friend's Moms were at the Nursing Home, and this is by far the Best in our Community.”
