So I am very bad DIY of bicycles and Micheal bailed me out from what could have been a costly mistake. He gave me some very helpful tips. He’s got a great shop, super friendly and very helpful. I would encourage you just to go to there first and save yourself the headache you will be glad you did.

I would recommend avoiding this place. I had a terrible experience trying to get some training wheels installed on my son’s bike. I had called ahead of going and spoke to a very friendly person that said if I bike took training wheels they would be happy to help. I made sure the bike supported them and headed over. I was met with a very ableist grumpy old man that told me the bike would not support his heavy duty training wheels and he then went on to ask “who was in charge” of my son when I shared I had tried to explain I was aware that learning as a balance bike was the preferred method, but that my autistic son had wanted the training wheels to feel safe. He was very demeaning and unkind. I find it laughable the shop has signage on the window advertising their customer service. I’d highly recommend you look elsewhere.

Michael’s saved me when I had an impossible request of a bike tune-up the day before a triathlon! They did just that AND completely cleaned up the bike too! It rode seamlessly and felt like brand new! I would 110% recommend and trust them for any bike need!

Blew out a sidewall on a tire today and we were able to limp into the shop. Everyone at Michael’s was friendly, we were in and out within 5 minutes, and back to enjoying a beautiful day of riding.

This is a great bike shop to go to in newbury park all of the workers in there were very helpful and the manager was super nice I would definitely recommend going here.

My biking group all goes here. When I bought my mountain bike used. The seller told me he and the original owner all went to Michael's and my bike had never been anywhere else. Came in with a flat tire, fixed it and educated on the issue. They gave my bike a once over and told me I probably didn’t need service and that everything looked good. Lubed up my chain for me. All free. Top notch stuff

It's nice to have a local bike shop that's family owned and I really pride themselves and customer service. We bring all of our bikes in here for tuneup and repairs always had a great experience.

I've been riding mountain bikes in Conejo Valley for over 30 years. During that time I've done business with 3 local bike shops. The only bike shop that has given me consistently honest and professional service is Michael's Bicycles. Michael and his team always give straight answers to my questions about repair costs and timing. Michael and his technicians REALLY understand how to relate to the regular bike rider's (customer's) needs. After a recent fall, I brought my bike to Michaels because my shifting was problematic. They spent about 40 minutes readjusting my bike. It works perfectly and they didn't even charge me. Great shop...great people! Norm Ohren
